This isn't a steal (or steel), but the tandem market is wonky, and I could see this being great for someone.

This is an attractive (and attractively-priced, IMO) bike in a pretty active market that hasn't been selling, so I wonder what the deal is.
Maybe prospective buyers are scared off by the janky bar and brake lever setup, which can be pretty easily rectified.

1979 Peugeot Competition - $100 (Santa Barbara)
Seems like the lowest price I've ever seen for one of these. I paid 3 times as much for mine.

Not particularly cheap, but this is an attractive-looking Trek. No, that is not an oxymoron!

I don't get it. If you ride it, it's a standard $900ish Raliegh international after a week. Maybe a few hundred extra premium for condition. If you keep it as a show piece, well...ok, it's pretty, but it's just a relatively common raleigh international.

Torelli relisted at $350 didn't sell, now it's at $325 with a few more pics, but still local pickup. At this point, the group on it is worth the start price. Vintage Torelli Road Bike Campagnola Parts | eBay
