He hasn't been able to locate the serial number (yet), but my guess is early 80s 720.

I'm thinking 1982 710/715. Nice, but not nearly $1000 nice.

I don't know what to think of this. Uncommon format that is usually very expensive, but a cheapo brand. Googling, I'm finding prices like $400 new, so $750 seems ambitious. But maybe you can't actually buy them for $400?

So it's a BSO. But someone had to have been really audacious to market a BSO triplet.

Can't be many of these around...

Raleigh USA Reynolds 531 c - $250

This frame is amazing, I just haven't used it. It is an early 90s frame when Raleigh was bought by a US Company. However, their race frames were still build in England, as was this. It is made from Reynolds 531 competition tubing and has campagnolo (campy) dropouts. The decals are all hand applied. It is a 55cm or 56 cm... unfortunately I don't have a tape measure at the moment (sorry). If you are interested, I can find this information out for you.

I can't do this frame justice... I hope somebody else can.

I beg to differ - If I hadn't bought and built up a Paramount Series 7 frame and a full Campy DeRosa in the past year, to go along with my Tommasini, I could love it just fine (and it would fit me). But I've now got 4 steel bikes that do everything I need them to do, so I can't justify it. BTW, my Tommasini is that color red, with that color yellow trim and lettering.

Not exactly bikes but I thought maybe someone here might have an interest, but they are very good spin bikes and there's 25 of them which he would sell one or all, in Indianapolis Indiana; https://fortwayne.craigslist.org/spo/5489362809.html

$700 seems good for this Lemond Buenos Aires:

I think it should be Reynolds 853 but don't see the sticker on the seat tube for it. *Sigh* I miss my old frame...

Is it just me, or does that fork look ever-so-slightly bent backwards, as from a front-end collision?

Raleigh Gran Sport, '62-'63ish. Some cracking in the fenders per shown in the photos. Still.
https://columbus.craigslist.org/bik/5491815181.html

I haven't dated this but the first year of this came out was a 1962. But all the components match that year but they also match 1963 as well. It is all original except for the rear derailleur which was switched out for some reason. Has a lot of campagnolo components on it as well as the original Brooks saddle. Pickup is in the Reynoldsburg or Pickerington area

This fellow from Cloquet Minnesota (as there is a keen dealer I'd say in Iowa and possibly Madison, Wisconsin, I've seen better deals as of late out of Madison) has an interesting store front, sold some Tataras, maybe nothing especially unique but worth keeping an eye on with Joe Camel in the background. .

Ad with no contact, take that with a grain of salt:

I don't know Schwinns and there was a Le Tour thread here about a month ago. This one to me looks pretty good, dated '74, '75 guesstimate for $150. The seller says tall but I don't think it is, 22" top bar.

Schwinn letour 12 sp. 70s. Amazing!

12 speed for '75? I don't think so; maybe those wheels are original. That is going back a ways.

When they don't leave a contact address or phone number, I'm often skeptical.

One Victor French cycle looked really at the bottom of the barrel; here is another Victor of Paris, $80; so at that price, worth considering.

[h=2]Box of Bicycle Magazines - $25 (Woodbury)[/h]Box of Bicycle Magazines. They are mostly about vintage and antique bikes. Email if interested. Thanks!

It looks like the magazines really deal with some very vintage and specialized bicycles. I haven't seen most of these magazines or newspapers ever. I did not know they existed. The experts here surely would.

Another Lenton Grand Prix, 1958, $250; some alterations but the frame and decals look intact for the most part.

Milwaukee.
1958 Raleigh Lenton Grand Prix
A vintage classic. British made Raleigh Lenton Grand Prix. 531 Reynolds steel. 21" frame, 31" standover. The frame would originally have carried Benelux derailleurs, but was built up using parts from a 1972 Super Grand Prix. Modolo shift levers and hoods. Mechanic built from the ground up. Ready to ride. A very classy and unusual bike. $250.

I once; before I knew better about 15 years ago, took a high powered hose to a bike and it did a job on the decals, I learned the hard way; so seeing decals like this are really impressive.

Pretty amazing.

I went and saw most of these a couple months ago, and it's almost all 70's gas pipe stuff, though I pulled out a UO8 frame and a Biotour 2000 frame. some of the components might be worth a shot.
