Recently repainted 65cm Bottecchia frame and fork:

Bottecchia Frame/Fork & Misc Road Bicycle Parts

I bought some brakes from this guy a month or so ago. I'm tempted to go look at one of the other things he's selling just to see this frame, even though it's far too big for me.

Fairly modern frame built with head lug barrel adjusters. Someone has gone retro on it.

Vintage Colnago Frame & Fork - $250 (repainted)

Repainted vintage Colnago Frame. Fork is not original but works well with the bike. When built up it rode great and quick. This is not a fake Colnago. Check the cutout and lug details. Frame is straight. Some chipping of the paint in the usual areas. 58cm seat tube (measure to top of top tube), 56cm top tube. $250 or best offer. Text at 858-945-five-three-two-nine

Price dropped to $150 today. I pinged the owner, will see if it pans out but I suspect I probably have 1-2 ahead of me inline.

Trek 460 that's slowly been coming down into 'normalville' for pricing after a couple of weeks. Bubbling around the ST bottle mount would concern me though.

[h=2] Classic Schwinn Paramount Touring Bicycle - $500 (Arlington) [/h]

A work horse with pedigree: I have been using this early 1980's hand-built classic as my daily commuter for the past two years. The 24-inch frame is far too large for me, and I have finally decided to down-grade to a more appropriately sized one. I'm selling the bike fully outfitted for year round commuting in New England. This includes custom-fitted fenders, a recently installed bottom-bracket, and a rear rack for panniers etc.. I replaced the handle-bars and brake levers within the last year; they are not period but still look fairly authentic.

^ Good price for getting oneself a Paramount but that one has been rode pretty hard for sure. I give the seller props for his marketing: "A work horse with pedigree"

Top marks for creatively getting the back fender to fit that Paramount! I wonder how much dirt it can throw trough that gap?

I just picked up an 1997 853 Lemond Zurich locally today at lunch for $225. With Shimano 600 8 speed running gear, a nice Selle Italia saddle, Cinelli bars & stem. It has a couple of very small dings on the top tube, but otherwise in very clean fully running condition, with new rubber, true wheels, no rust, just solid riding condition. I really had no need for this, but I had been curious to try an 853 frame, and this one fits me, is in clean shape, for a screaming good price, so I had to jump. It was erroneously listed as a Buenos Aires, rather than the Zurich it is, but my understanding is that the frames were the same in any case.

I owned one of those some time ago, one with Campy 8 speed. A great riding bike.

No problem. There are only a half dozen basic shapes. Normally, if you know what the derailleurs or brakes are, you can make a good guess as to the crankset. Suntour derailleurs generally mean Sugino or Sakae cranks as these companies worked together.
