I'm not really much of a fixie aficionado, and this would not do for me as I live on a steep hill and as a result, I need climbing gears, but this looks to be a well executed fixie for not a lot of money:

MASI Speciale Fixed with reversible hub

BTW, that Waterford touring bike in Lexington looks to be a sweet deal on a sweet purpose-built bike.

That DKO flipper comes up with a lot of inventory, but it is buyer beware. He doesn't so much as clean nor lube them, so always budget a full overhaul. Also, he doesn't point out damage, like the questionable fork on that superior. I bought a mixte off him years ago and haven't been tempted since.

Someone of smaller stature needs to be running to get that frame, those were really nice and very well built frames.

Merlin Titanium Mountain Bike - $1200 (Davis Sq. Somerville) hide this posting

1996 Merlin Mountain, 21.5"
In excellent shape. Last year of the Cambridge Made Merlins- the pinnacle of their MTB design. Cockpit:
Thomson Stem (brand new) 120MM, 25.4 clamp
Eaton EA70 Monkey Bar- (brand new)
Seatpost- Control Tech 27.2, I assume it is the original

Drivetrain:
All Shimano XT M752- 9speed, Triple crank, Octalink Bottom Bracket, Shifter pods, Rear derailleur, XTR front derailleur

Specialized Stout hubs on Mavic X221 Rims
IRC backcountry 26 x 2.25" Tires

[h=2]56cm 1985 Cannondale Racing Bike - $400 (Allston) hide this posting[/h]

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Cannondale
size / dimensions: 56 cm

Selling a 1985 Cannondale racing bike, very lightweight aluminum frame, made in the USA. The frame is marked 56cm, but back in the 80's they measured frames differently - this is more like a 54cm modern frame. I bought this thing, got it fixed up & ready to ride, and discovered I'm way too tall for it. It should be suitable for someone 5'6"-5'8" tall, with narrow shoulders.

Features:
• Suntour downtube shifters
• Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur
• Shimano SIS 600 rear derailleur
• Shimano 600 headset
• Modolo brake calipers
• EDCO competition crankset
• Custom wheelset with Campagnolo Record hubs & Wolber TX Profil rims
• Fresh set of Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires
• Cinelli stem & handle bars

12 speed (2x6), not ridden since its last tune-up, with new brake pads, cables, housings, and bar tape. This bike is in excellent condition, I'm just way too big for it.

$500 obo.

[h=2]Seven Cycles CX Frame/Wound Up fork - $900 (West Medford) hide this posting[/h]

For sale: 55cm steel Seven frame with 1" Wound Up fork, Chris King headset, Easton seat post & ITM stem. Canti or mini V-brake ready.

Black paint with a few expected paint chips but no dents. The Wound Up fork has the usual weirdness in the clear coat but those are cool looking forks so it never bothered me.

I bought this on craigslist a couple of years ago and rode it off road for around 500 miles but it is too big for me and it's time to switch to a better fit.
I have a few more parts for a build for additional $$.
