Cool Orange Raleigh Supercourse $150. With a nice copper-rivet Brooks!

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/5596257030.html

I can't add pictures now. Ad says "single speed" but it looks like "no speed": It just needs a chain. Check for front end damage - hard to see fork in pic.

The more I look the straighter it looks. I think the spokes are throwing the eye off.

2 project bikes

Project bikes, $115, that Hosteler actually has a stronglight crank and Ideale seat and the claim is the Gitane is 531 Reynolds. So, looks like a good deal. Chrome on the back stays of the Hosteler it looks like in deteriorated shape.

fantastic vintage 1984 Fuji del Rey

'84 Fuji Del Reys are great bikes and maybe this is very minty, seems quite a steep price ($399) all the same. I think they are plentiful enough, that even half that is close to too much but it does say something about how nice these bikes are and maybe to the right person, it is worth it.

Also, it is completely unfair, but as a 26 year-old, I have never had a good association with Schwinns. I need to get over that.

Vintage 1950 French La Perle Randonneur Herse-Singer - $1200 (Los Angeles)

So, this looks like one of those rare parallelogram derailleurs in front of the clog cluster as well though here, I don't know, Nirvex did it so I take it that Simplex did it too but post-war.

And market price would be??? If it is as old as 1950 and in this shape, it seems a good deal. Those components look to be in very good shape. And tyres!

Seems it could be at least sold for $1500; it really must be a buyer's market currently. And to replace that derailleur if something happened? I guess, one could try to affix a "normal" rear derailleur, it seems one could get that working.

Perle a model? Or did the two companies merge? Interesting.

A pair of Motobecane Super Mirage bikes. A little too pricey for high tensile steel bikes even if they were ready to ride, but I like the black and red.

that looks like the same guy that artclone got his Bottecchia from. - I think i recognize that wall. also its not a 1966, or a "champione del mondo" - that is just the sticker on there showing off the win in 1966

Yeah, could be. Odd. Where would you find a stash of aged Bottecchias. The seller didn't strike me as being a bicyclist.

And when I asked if he had pedals for mine, he went into the back and came back with a pile of pedals and shoes of various sizes. If anyone goes, ask him if he has any more bikes

Also be aware that these bikes are pretty but can be everything from gaspipe on up, even with chrome and Campy, so do your research.
