Well, that's the thing - because I built it exactly to my own specs, it fits me perfectly and rides lighter than its hi-ten frame would suggest. It is my go-to bike for rides in which I don't expect to carry anything. I can wear normal clothes thanks to the chainguard and rear (wood) fender. It's my favorite ride right now.

That's almost one for the Wacky Craigslist thread. I wonder what the story was - "I stole it and couldn't sell it without a front wheel, so I donated it to goodwill", or "I taco'd the front, so I bought a new bike".

Nice alright but anything especially unique about this one? Doesn't say the model even.

Again, nice bike, I can't even tell the model of this; so I'[d be wary at this price but a lot of nice rides in downtown Mpls. during the workday, walking around at lunch and peering at what people are riding. There's some new bike path near the new stadium, I wouldn't even know what to call it and normally, I don't spend a lot of time down there.

Looking at the above bicycle in the ad, the forks aren't chromed. So, is that a Record maybe? That'd be my guess. Nottingham head badge.

Gran Sport, definitely low cost when these often go for over $200.

Bronze Schwinn High Sierra mountain bike. Pretty sure it is from 1986 (Schwinn Specs). Frame is in good condition. ~21" from center to top.

Could be a great vintage mtb, or it could be a crappy comfort bike from when Schwinn recycled the Cimarron name. No picture!

[h=2]Schwinn cimarron - $100 (Coon rapids, MN)[/h]Schwinn cimarron

Slightly used mountain bike. Good tires brakes and condition. Just don't use it no more

Olmo and Rossin from the same seller on eBay. Things look warped/bent in both images. I am surprised the seller went to the trouble to stage the shots, then apparently took blurry photos with a wide angle lens. I sent the seller a note about the Rossin, then saw the Olmo suffers from the same problem. Maybe they will use a different camera/photographer next time.

Edit: The seller got back to me almost immediately and apologized for the photos. He will be taking more.

A couple Serotta's popped up in the past day or two. This first one is a diamond in the rough, a very early example. It needs to be repainted, but I think it would be worth it. If the first one was my size, I wouldn't been posting about its availability, if you get my drift...

This second one looks to be mid-80s from the components:

Are the Chainstays on a Moto LC always crimped like that? That is not a ding?

I really didn't need another project, but I've been wanting to try a Motobecane out and couldn't pass up this frame at such a great price. N+1 strikes again!

Always happy to help!

I'm fairly confident it's from the late 70s, but I'm not quite sure on an exact year. From my limited research, it looks to be a good match for @verktyg's 1977 Le Champion posted here on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/282672...7625709948402/, but it may also be from '78 or '79.

Happy I could be a matchmaker. (I can also get my N+1 jollies vicariously.) Looking forward to the build.
