Purported to be a Ciocc, $200 in Kokomo, Indiana. Add seems a bit fishy. 'This bike rides nice. Very light. Italian hand built. Sell it on E-bay!! Worth a lot more! Original Campagnola components.'
Ciocc Vintage Road Bike

Nope, the Ciocc was straight up. All Super Record with C-Record cranks.

Does that mean you bought it? That does look like quite a find.

1988 / 1989 Schwinn Prologue for $250 - local pickup only

Somebody in the Denver (Littleton, specifically) area please pick this thing up. At $250 for this bike in what looks to be complete and clean/good condition, this is a steal. Also, save it from the flipped-up drop bar look, which doesn't make any ergonomic or visual sense--it is an abomination.

These Prologues, in the black-to-grey fade color scheme, are some of my favorite Schwinns, and a bit of a grail bike to own at some point. They are gorgeous. At 54cm, it is about 10-12cm too small for me, but I keep a look and search out for them. My Peloton needs a sister.

I case others are interested, I checked out this trek on Tuesday evening. The seller is a nice guy, but I decided to pass. To my mind, it's a good deal if you're dying for a 728. The ngc 450 brakes are there, but the rest of the components are well used and meh, seat post and saddle excepted. The "tune up" is accurate in sense of fully functional, but no overhaul/replacement was done to cables, housing, bearings, etc. In short, still a project frame for $400, which was too much for me.

Can't comment on fork. It was dark, so I might have missed some obvious things, but it seemed to ride straight. I was mainly kicking the tires and wanting to get a look at a 720 in my size. Would be a wonderful 650b conversion!

best,

Selling this wonderful fully tuned up mens road bike in excellent condition.
It has gatorskin hardshell tires
Brand new chain
Campagnolo shifters
Dura-Ace seatpost
Rigida aluminum double wall rims
Brooks B15 leather saddle
Cargo rack
Bottle cage

etc etc etc.

It rides super smooth. Needs nothing. Frame is 24" in size.

Thanks for the report. Hard to tell about the fork from the photo. Might have to go have a look myself.

And here's another Marinoni with Chorus bits in Seattle but for $480, very tempting!

MARINONI 57cm Road bike Campagnolo Group Mavic SUP reflex Chris King

I think a perfect addition to this Claud Butler would be some chromed fenders. Seattle, $400
