Cute little bike with a cute little $110 price. Centurion Accordo RS Road bike If the Internet (probably plagiarized from T-Mar) is correct, this was a good era for the Accordo, with Light Action 12-speed shifting and DB main tubes, and this one should have 700c wheels. I also see nice mid-late-80's features like the pump peg and chain hanger.

Could see leaving the big rings controled with a single DT lever but go dual-control for the rear shifter. 8-9 speed only but wide range with climber sprockets in ally. 11-t high end. Tricked out mountain bike rear der. Ally and ti hardware hiding. Sampson Stratics ti BB. Build a silly light set of wheels in tubular, ti / ally skewers, low profile rims to keep it vinti. Modern Tektro R dual pivot only on the front and the lightest whatever you can find brand (carbon and paint silver?) for the rear brake. Beat that bike up before it beats you

Puch Royal X - $399
I purchased the bike new in 1976, 23 inch 58cm frame, I'm 6' fits me perfect. Bike is in remarkable condition for near 40 years old. 531 Reynolds tubing frame, Suntour Cyclone derailiers, Weinman Carrera brakes, Weyless hubs, Dura-Ace crank. No pedals. Over the winter the bike was taken apart down to the bare frame, everything cleaned and serviced. I laced up new rims with new spokes, new tires, tubes and chain.

Sleeper beater hot-rod to antagonize the bike snob groupies on $8k cf bikes. Make it a specialty 16 maybe 15ish lbs. jack rabbit to breakaway on climbs. Leave others scratching their heads. hehe
Could see leaving the big rings controled with a single DT lever but go dual-control for the rear shifter. 8-9 speed only but wide range with climber sprockets in ally. 11-t high end.
