Not sure what this is, but doubt it is even a Masi. No Mais GC I've seen w/ fast-back seat stays. Maybe someone else can tell. I agreee with his caution in the ad, "beware". If we get a consensus I do believe a "flagging" is in order...

I've never seen a GC with fender eyelets or that fork crown either.

@JPBBIKER1 this thread is full of Craigslist and eBay ads people find elsewhere. The post you're replying to is more than 2 months old, that bike (which wasn't his) is probably long gone by now, at that price.

?Only 500 Made!!! Cannondale "Team Crest" Road Bike?

Up for sale is a 1998 Cannondale "Team Crest-R500" road bike. Made w/ Premium Reynolds aluminum. Only 500 made. It is a 14-speed or 2x7. 60cm and would fit someone 6' and taller. Cosmetically, it looks real nice w/ only a few light scratches. Equiped with full Shimano 105 components. Please check out what this bike is selling for on Ebay (over $500 + shipping) Please call or email with any question or to purchase. $350. J
I just posted one here the other the other day that is local to me. this is my size but not as clean. If this were in my area and clean like the other, I would have had a hard time not buying just for the collectability.

He is right about ebay sales, but these were 88-89', not 98' as listed. I also read only 300 were made but that could be wrong.

Some cool info Inman Park Dentistry One ad says "Support Team Crest on the Tour De Trump". The bike on his wall with blue tires looks sweet!

I don't think this is a 58 because then I might have to own it. Looks to be 1 size smaller. Mighty clean.

Centurion Ironman Expert 58cm - Mint - All Original

For sale mint condition Dave Scott Centurion Ironman Expert 58cm 1987 model in magenta and yellow colors. I am the original owner and purchased this bike new from Bikecology in Santa Monica in 1988 and put a few hundred miles on it. It has always been stored indoors and looks virtually new. Completely original and unmolested even down to the tires. When I bought it, I added a seat bag, pump, and Cat Eye Micro computer for speed, time, and cadence. I just put a fresh battery in the Cat Eye and it still works well. Back in '88 this bike was advertised as the #1 selling Tri-A/Racing bike in USA.

This bike comes with all the original components:
- Shimano 105 Complete System componentry: derailleurs, brakes, cassette/freehub, Biopace crankset, pedals, headset.
- Tange Chromoly double-butted frameset, light, responsive Unicrown fork. Great handling race geometry.
- Selle Italia Mundialita leather seat, aluminum post. Original Centurion seat cover still on and bike was never ridden without it.
- Racing Wheels: Hard anodized Wolber Super Champion Alpine rims (made in France) and stainless steel spokes. Panaracer Tecnova 700 x 20c tires (these will need to be changed as they are original from 1987).
- Advertised weight 22+ lbs.

If you have been looking for a vintage classic racing bike, I don't think you will find a more original and nicer condition one around. With a new set of tires/tubes and a cleaning/lube to the chain, this bike will be completely road worthy and should provide a lifetime of service, still competitive today. Workstand not included with sale of bike.

Those 912's are sweat bikes, someone needs to hop on over and get it fast. I have two Miyatas, a team and a 712 and they were the thoroughbred of bikes with that triple butted spiral tubing they created and made in their own steel factory, Columbus would later copy the spiral concept for their top of the line tubing.

$400 Pinarello in Berkeley

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/5712104186.html

No pic. No description other than it has a freewheel. Seller claims to need $ for rent. So obviously might be trashed and/or stolen, but you never know. Might be worth chatting with seller.

Here's something you don't see everyday...neither vintage nor necessarily classic, but interesting.

I've seen a few of these go thru the LA Craigslist a few years back for around $400-$600. I can't believe they've gone up that much in value.

As a matter of fact, there's one right now for $750.

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...676978398.html

This bike is in great shape and is FULL XT.

This is a size small AMP Research Mercedes Model, size small with a full SHIMANO XT Groupset, including an XT-hubbed wheelset that is not shown, but that comes with the bike instead of the Mavic wheelset shown.

Chris King Headset, road-friendly Michelin Country Rock tires, control tech bars, Anza bar ends...

All that this bike needs is replacements for the RITCHEY stem, Bontrager post, and WTB saddle in order for it to be full-on, old school correct, which I will be happy to do for you for a slight upcharge.

The Monterey listing seems very optimistic to me. These bikes might be listed that high on eBay, but are not being sold at that high price. Looks like both bikes have been on CL for awhile, too.
