Looks pretty sweet. Can't really see how intense or detrimental that crease is and would probably be a PITA to get out due to proximity with the BB shell.

That is a good site as well as Velobase, can't count how many times I have used the component search either.

Was thinking more along the lines of collectibles. I have a good amount of bikes and have been sucked into the world of accessories and other things that go well in a bike room or to just have.

Yeah I kind of knew this was a good catalog and found those links while researching. There are pretty good scans but I like to have hard copy of that stuff, plus this price looked good to me.

Dang, my friend Jeff is at it again. Bianchi Prestige Virata for a pretty nice price. I was tempted as I recently got a small handful of cash, but I've got my Bianchi. He might ship, I don't know.,,,,BD

I've looked at this one in CL a couple times. Would make a beautiful build but just bigger than what I like. I'm very close to being done with the Raleigh 531c frame that I bought from Jeff.

^Hey Skip. Funny you should mention. I did see the listing earlier and almost went for it. But already have enough projects including small frame builds for the kids.

I've never heard of Kabukis, but I love the name! What's with the missing teeth on the larger rear cogs? Is that intentional? Does it help the chain make the jump?

OK, may not be a fit for this thread but you can pedal it and looks vintage. I think its kind of neat. (Note the suspension fork.)

1903 Indian replica motorized bicycle

1903 Indian replica motorized bicycle .
Built to resemble a barn find turn of the century motor bike

Want a fun toy for cruzing around your neighborhood or riding in summer parades or just have a cool piece for your man cave
49cc 2 stoke engine no plates or license required by Illinois
Built by https://boardtrackreplicas.com out of Houston Texas

To much of a project for me ... Warning !!!you must be a tinker or willing to learn to truly enjoy this bike, it came in a box, I assembled it and road it around 10 miles or so this fall and had issues with the engine chain and so I put it up for the winter

This summer I had the motorized chain reset by a solid bike mechanic, he adjusted the tension and reset the back wheel, the bicycle side could use a tweak. The engine ran well and was set up to idle with the clutch in, all the nuts and bolts where checked for tightness, but I would suggest going over it again with loc tite etc..

Currently Not running .. I may have flooded it out etc... Still may need more break in time ? I don't know enough about two strokes to get it set up right, I don't have the time or knowledge .. Great project for someone who enjoys this kind of stuff ... If you don't like tinkering and tweaking don't even think about this.

New this build would cost over $2700 I'm asking $1600 Open to offers

In the mid-late '70s 'Bike Boom', Bridgestone badged their US market export bikes as Kabukis, because Bridgestone didn't sound 'Japanese enough'

I have the same Shimano. freewheel on my '74 Bridgestone Super-Light; it's a 14-34 5-speed, and, yes, the missing teeth are to help the chain jump to the bigger cogs. It's a big jump, especially considering the shifter / derallieur technology of the time.

Post it in the Folding Bikes forum, but you might need to create the appropriately titled thread for it. There might be someone over there who really wants it. For instance, when I find tandems for sale I post them in the thread I created in Tandem Cycling. You could also crosspost in "For Love of English 3-Speeds" here in C&V since this little bike would qualify.

Hand Made in Somerville Bella Bicycle - $300 (Concord,NH)

This is a hand made vintage classic built by none other than Ed Blank.
To the best of my understanding he had a high end boutique shop in Somerville in the late 70's- early 80's.
Learned his trade from some of the best in Italy.
Campy drivetrain, dura ace brakes, fiamme rims, campy hubs.(race wheels) also comes with a set of town wheels. Cinelli bars and stem.
Size 53 cm
Thanks
