Fair enough. I'm not local (but have family/friends in LA) so I'll step out of this for now.

Good luck!

All you mainlanders and your deals.../jealousy/ barely scratches the surface.

I presume it's the Somec in question? If so, look at that fork also. Maybe it's optics, but looks slightly bent back.

Saw this when someone posted previously. Bike is already a bit overpriced, but two things make it sketchy: There's evidence of a big chain-suck event on the chainstay behind the crank (it's ~2" wide and half inch tall), and I also notice a lot of rust on the downtube (drive side) where the brake caliper has been smacking into it. Both are rusty, one or both spots could also have dents to the tubing. It looks like rust removal was done on the fork crown as well (pitting).

I wouldn't pay a dollar over $350-400 if I were super-interested in it. Uninterested, I might bite at $250-300.

You sure this isn't a theme bike? Looks oddly like a bicycle version of The Joker from Batman.

The seller is in Miami. The bike would not look out of place with the Art Deco colors in South Beach.
