Pics leave something to be desired. Tall, 62 cm, Stronglight and Campy.
1985 Mangusta 5000 62cm
This Mangusta 5000 is interesting, semi-rare, and what seems to be highly original. These bikes were produced by Motobecane using inexternal fillet-brazed fittings on the Columbus tubing and full chrome like old Pistas. This one is the top trim French frame with English Stronglight cranks, Campagnolo derailleurs front and rear along with the down tube shifters. Weinmann brakes. Seat was replaced with some newer bontrager and the front wheel is a Mavic 195. Rear wheel is the og Wolber and pedals are French Maillard CXCs. Good tires. Great vintage commuter for someone tall. Comes with old seat stay trapper rack.

It looks to be a chrome Mangusta as in this picture; the CL pictures don't do it justice.

Someone here selling? Worth a look. Reynolds 531 sticker on the fork.

This one is still up on the Minneapolis CL.
The build seems to be modeled after the Bella Ciao Ingegnere

I wrote the seller to inquire about the frame:
First, let me say that is a beautiful bike. Nicely designed and put together.
My question is this: Is that a Raleigh headbadge on there? I’ve been trying to figure out what that frame is and this is the only clue I could find.
If it’s not a Raleigh, what is it?
Seller's reply:
I have no idea to be honest. I bought the bike from a guy I was seeing awhile back and he was very into bikes. I used it once and haven't used it since. That is why I am selling it. Your welcome to take a closer look if you'd like.
I may have to do that, just to satisfy my curiosity. It looks to be one of the lightweight Raleigh 10-speeds from the `70s with a bunch of Campy stickers slathered all over it. It would be nice to see a drive-side shot to verify.
No hurry, though. At $450, that bike ain't goin' anywhere.

That's definitely a Raleigh head badge, and a Reynolds 531 sticker on the fork. Nice bike, I've been considering a build like this, but yeah, wouldn't pay $450 for it.

Iffy 3Rensho $500
Not sure about fork, seller not likely a bicyclist, lotta leverage on stem and post, mix of Campy/DuraAce, but worth looking at.

I love the smooth frame welds and the gold anodized rims and pedals.

I can take a look for someone if they want. too small for me and I am too busy to be flipping/parting stuff. looks like it might be a 1987 (i say this from the crank being that one year model... but could be wrong)

I'll admit it: that Medici is mine, a victim of too much collecting and not enough room. It's gotten to the point where I have to move five bikes out of The Lab in order to work on anything.
Honestly, the pics don't do it justice. Bet it hasn't been ridden 200 miles in its entire life. In person, it's even more stunning.
And 10% off the eBay price if purchased outside of eBay by a forumite.

Bruce Gordon Rock 'n Road 57cm Touring Bike - $600 (Capitol Hill)

~57cm Bruce Gordon Rock 'n Road Touring Bike
33" stand over height
90's Model made in Japan.
Steel - Tange MTB tubing
I'm 6'1' and the bike fits perfect. Unfortunately I have a knee problem that prevents me from putting on the miles this thing deserves.
Shimano Deore XT components. Bar end shifters are fun!
Nitto handlebars and stem.
Near new Schwalbe Marathon Supremes. (I put them on with the intention of long rides)
Small dent in seat tube (shown in pics) that does not affect frame integrity.
Come meet me on Cap Hill to give it a ride!
