A VERY C&V Bridgestone Diamond. Axle wingnuts are the most excellent flair. Also Suntour "Skitter" RD and various other whimsical Japanese names and text on the bike.

Also, a lovely Shogun 600 with 600EX / Arabesque (minus the wheelset). Components look in nice shape! Actually the whole thing is a wheelset away from being a very lovely bike with nice pieces. I will always be a fan of the Arabesque stuff, and for $120, I will really be a fan!

So, does that mean you are grabbing this one? Because if not, this is worth the drive for me (or a facilitator, wink, wink).

Georgena Terry Precision

Their signature model woman's bike at a very reasonable price. This could probably sell for much more for the bicycle flippers out there. Original owner!

https://palmsprings.craigslist.org/bik/5844597927.html

This bicycle has a handmade frame, and was made in New York in 1986 or 1987. I'm the only owner. It's seen many miles over the years, and has ridden in RAGBRAI nine years. It's got 18 gears, and is able to climb all hills, no matter how steep. It's a great bicycle for those of us who are shorter.

I haven't been able to ride for a few years due to my health, and the bike has been sitting in my garage. It needs a tune-up, a good cleaning, the handlebars taped, and will eventually need new tires. As you can see from the picture, the seat has a tear in it. I took it for a spin just before I posted this and it still rides great.

Waterford R-33 steel- price drop - $1400 (New Hampshire)

Beautiful Waterford R-33 steel bike for sale. I'm 5'9 and bike fits okay but I think it is best for someone 5'10 or so- it is 55 cm. I just don't ride it much, which is a shame, due to back issues. This is the lightest steel bike that Waterford makes, it has True Temper S3 tubing and Easton carbon fork. It has full 10-speed Dura-Ace group (shifters, brakes, crank, derailleurs) and Ultegra wheels with Grand Prix tires in like new condition.

Thanks for looking!

DQRider's Ross Aristocrat Update

Well, I got busy last night transforming the Ross I just traded my "Curbhopper" cargo bike for into something I can ride comfortably. I think I have just about perfected this recipe. But this time I am keeping the original drivetrain intact, because it shifted so buttery smooth and the components are pretty light. Anyway, you all saw the before pics already. Here's what it looks like now:

I'm using a beat-up old Nitto Technomic stem because I had no idea there were different sizes of these things. I'm still a relative newbie at this, after all. I tried the Nitto Dirt Drop stem I wanted to use, and found it was too big

The only thing left to do is wait for my V.O. thumb-shifter mounts to come in so I can relocate those beautiful Arabesque shift levers to the handlebar.

Meanwhile across town, Mr. Schwinnderella wasted no time in putting the Curbhopper up for sale. Here it is, if any of you would like something different:

Go for it! The frame is too small for me, and I've done a 600 build before (not that I wouldn't do another one, just not now as I have other projects.

This Canadian brand rarely pops up in Minnesota. There's a few mechanical issues with the bike, but its Ishiwata 022 frame seems to be in good condition. It was $100, then went to $150, and now it's back down to the original, more tempting price.
