I've seen (on the web) at least a couple Lambert/Viscount frames that apparently failed at the head tube and have been repaired in this manner. I've never seen one in person, so I can't comment on the quality of this repair.

Thank you.

Wonder if it could be that the frame fails as a consequence of the death fork failure...

Lambert/Viscount were well known to fail.

I was thinking same thing, the paint is mismatched. But as you say, still a good deal.

Maruishi RX-600

The seller says it's a 52cm (ad copy is kind of confusing), but it looks more like 56-58cm to me. Anyway, no bids yet, starting at $100, and $100 to ship. Could be yours for $200.

nice eyes. I did not look close enough as its not my size. I would say the change to 8 speed bar ends with the 32t at the back, along with the deore wheels are all +'s for a good rider in these parts. if one replaced the RD with something a little more age appropriate and took off the rim stickers, you would be C&V cool and hill effective!

Rare Erma Italian 5 speed Bike bicycle mixte Brooks saddle

Rare Erma Italian 5 speed Bike bicycle mixte Brooks saddle - $240 (Northbrook)

Extremely rare Italian bike. This is a erma 5 speed equipped with ofmega components and a Brooks saddle. The bike has paint chips but the frame has no dents or rust. Gears work great and shift smooth. The bike is missing a reflector on the back fender and the light does not work. This bike is super cool! The brake levers are built into the handlebars. With a few more additions this bike would look rediculous ! Local pick up only --- if you have to have it the shipping will cost you 150.00 , we can talk more if shipping is the only option but again it will cost you 150.00

Yep. But $450 is more than I'd go.

It's killing me this is available, and I can't touch it.

Fuji Titanium Road bike

Even with shipping & customs, it would be *so worth it*. We get nothing like this in Ireland. I even have powder blue bar tape that'd look hot on it...

Quite interesting. Frame and component selection. Could be a great deal for someone nearby and in the market for a vinti tandem. Shipping prohibitive but as it sits with a bike dealer and messed up crank, sad rubber, off that captain stem on the auction site for another bonus $100...... deal of the day perhaps??
