Lippy tandem in Los Angeles area: https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/bik/5906606043.html

Lippy Custom Tandem - $2000 (Agoura Hills) hide this posting
1
condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Lippy
model name / number: Tandem
Gorgeous custom Lippy Tandem, by Keith Lippy (a former Masi frame builder) with his beautiful paint combo of two green tones, and his famous smooth brazings (original paint). Reynolds tubing. Tange drop outs. Ovalized top tube. Index Shimano shifting. Braking cables go through frame itself. Internal seat post bolts - especially nice touch.

Braze ons for racks with custom matching green rear panniers (not pictured). Mounting screws for four water bottles. Only one on now.

22"/20.5" - center to top (Because ovalized top tube makes center to center measurement inaccurate), but tube also slanting so stand over a little larger.

Have nice Terry woman's seat for rear.

Comes with Yakima tandem adapter. Matching Silca air pump (if I find it).

Puch Mistral frame SLX that seller mentions might be made by Bianchi. Looks exactly like my Bianchi SLX frame, although fork is different.

As mentioned in my other post, I hereby blame each and everyone of you for the purchases I made today. This thought shall provide some comfort while sleeping in the garage because my wife said we have no room for another bike. I couldn't find a nick or scratch on this one. Seller let it go for $200. Looked new:

Then the seller says, "Oh, I'll let this Prelude with new Continental Gatorskins go for another $100." Looked like it came out of the box:

Pleases STOP posting! I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what's with the spoke pattern on the '88 Prelude? I'm an intermediate fitness biker, fair mechanic but not an expert by any means. Also both bikes have a long, thin air valve I don't have on my other bikes. Is there an adapter I can use on my compressor to inflate the tires?

It is called a Presta adapter. About $2 at most bike shops.

Tall but very nice.

Where are all of these tall cyclists? A good number of these bikes are that size.

This bike has most original parks like Modolo brakes, Campagnolo derailleur. The handlebars are more contemporary. A solid bike that embodies the legacy of quality from Bianchi. The standover height is 33 inches..
