I glanced down at the shipping and thought 59.00. Really glad I didn't bid, that is some crazy shipping.

NOS Wheels, tools, and ?? Worth a look, in Newark, DE:

Racing Bicycle Wheels Rims Tires Spokes

"Sitting in storage are many sets of 27" racing bike wheels which my dear old dad, once a local cycling enthusiast, left behind some years ago. I haven't taken the time to inventory them all but as you can see by the photo there are quite a few wheels needing frames. Brands include Shimano, Campagnolo, and others. Some appear to be unused and others used. Some take tube tires and others sew-ups.

Let me know what you're looking for and I will have see if I can find a match. If I have what you'd like then make an offer. Also available are some spokes and other bike tools my dad had to keep his hobby going. Feel free to inquire, and thanks for looking!"

Expedited shipping, dependent on location. For me it's $322.10. Crazy that it should be $292.18 for Tacoma, which is just over the bridge from Gig Harbor. That guy needs to offer other shipping options!

Maybe it's so cheap for me because it's only 5 miles away.

Me as well...some people on eBay try to make their money on the shipping (it is why eBay started charging fees on the shipping charged)...they would put, say this bike, in at $0.01 and charge $500 shipping...at the time, eBay would only collect their fees on the sales price. So, that was avoided! Wonder if this person is still trying to do that!

Additional clearance for the rear rack and especially the panniers? Maybe at the risk of reduced heel clearance. Those look like Mafac tandem cantilevers, so that might be a consideration.
