If I actually get this done, there'll be pics for my fellow C&Vers, of course!

I've been to Greenbank before. It'd be a bit of a haul for anyone who's not already on Whidbey Island, so the bike may still be there.
Great to hear! If you end up not wanting it but, it appears, would facilitate, another C&Ver is interested (in text/quote below). Don't know if you'd want to work something out or not if it came to that. I am at capacity in my apartment bike-wise, so I personally won't/can't take it into the fleet. Let us know how it goes!

Lascauxcaveman is going out there on what looks like Monday to check it out. I don't know if he'd be interested in arranging something should he decide to pass on it. I know for me in Seattle proper, it's $30 round trip just to go look at it (ferry tickets both ways plus gas), which would factor into getting it you or another member (to say nothing of figuring out the paypal-type thing, which I am a total rookie on).

On a side note, the differences between the Professional and Semi-Pro, according to a 1977 catalog, are not a lot (or are at least easily interchanged). The frameset tubing is identical, but much of the drivetrain is quite similar. I think I actually prefer the Semi-Pro for its black components--they just look so good. Also according to the catalog, the Power Shifters could be interchanged with "finger tip" shifters, which to me sounds like bar-end shifters (which would line up with the photo in the ad).

Get into the Paramount club with a 1992-only Series 2 for only $240 (that's a great decent-bike-that-runs price, IMO). I know I know, not a Waterford, but nice chro-mo, OS tubing, and internal cable routing (a higher end frame feature, as I read). Good to ride as is, or hot rod with STIs/Ergos. Located in Vancouver, WA.

Bizarre. No description, one terrible picture. Dang, wish this was somewhat workable but the person who listed it seems to demonstrates its beyond their thinking. All sorts of 'what if's.... could also be stolen or its virtual vapor, is there some fracture not easily seen or disclosed, etc.

Could be although I see ads like that all the time by landlords selling the stuff left behind

Bridgestone RB-T - 56cm - Portland

Get it on craigslist for $450

-OR-

Get it on ebay for $250, save $200, and do local pickup!

Selling my Bridgestone RB-T, I believe it's a 1991. From the Grant Peterson era of Bridgestone, this is a wonderful riding steel bike. It was my only bike for a couple years in Denver, sold it to a buddy when I moved out here, regretted it and bought it back soon after. I have since acquired a few more modern bikes that fit me better.

56cm square frame, can take a lot of abuse. Has been used for CX, commuting, and alleycat racing occasionally.

A lot of new parts. Full list below.

Willing to trade for carbon wheelset (rim or disc), other nice bike stuff, a cool frame, remote control toys, small motorized things, whatever. Cash is king as always.

WTB Freedom Elite wheelset, less than 5miles on $200 wheelset
Schwalbe CX Pro 30c tires, can swap for 33c Specialized Tracer tires for asking price
Origin8 Mustache bars, can swap for stock drops if wanted
Shimano 105 downtube shifters wth Suntour derailleurs, 3x6
San Marco Rolls seat
Soma branded Tektro brake levers NEW
Shimano cantilever brakes NEW

1973 Raleigh Super Course - $110 (Longfellow, MN)

1973 Raleigh Super Course

Complete original unmolested Raleigh Super Course from the early 1970's. Size - 21.5" Frame and a 31" Stand-over (I'd call it a small) It has all of it's original parts including the aluminum wheels; griptape; derailleurs; white brake covers and black leather Brooks B17 saddle. The tires hold air and the seat post is removable (not rusted in). The saddle is in okay shape, not too dried and nor brittle - a little oil and elbow grease would rejuvenate the Brooks. Perfect bicycle candidate for deep polishing and rehab or destroy it down to a single speed - whatever.

I'm asking $110 cash money or trade for a good ride-able Brooks B17 saddle in Honey for my touring bike. Thanks for looking.

That's a negatory, good buddy. Someone else saved me the hassle by snapping it up this morning. If it had been in better shape, I'd have made an effort to get out there yesterday, but it was not to be.

Bummer. Well, thanks for letting me and the rest of us know. I will now return to building up an '85 C'dale I linked to a week or two ago (and then ended up buying). Just got done disassembling it, cleaning and waxing the frame, and overhauling the headset. A deep dark blue metallic with a hint of violet, the paint is in phenomenal shape--it will make a gorgeous bike!
