Simoncini w/Chorus

SLX tubing per the decal, and the seller is dating it to '95. Campagnolo Chorus hardware.

Located near Lynchburg, VA. but ad mentions the seller would be willing to ship.

For sale is a blue Bianchi Advantage men's 18 speed hybrid bike in beautiful original condition.Stored many years.Bike was lightly used and well maintained.Must be seen. Aluminum Araya quick release rims.Shimano thumb shifters and derailleurs; center pull brakes, original saddle and tires.20 inch frame.Campagnolo water bottle and holder. Rides ,brakes, and shifts great.A higher end, quality ride at a bargain price.Fine example of an early hybrid. Don't miss it!!!!
That is a pretty bike and given the lack of a market for hybrids (even the rare nice one like this) I think it's a great deal. If that was my size and close it would be hard to pass up.

Yeah, it's been for sale for quite a while too. Surprised how long some of these nicer Gitanes sit.

Looks like a lot of crap, but if the SA hub works, it may be worth exploring.

If someone in or around the Portland, OR area would buy this before I have the chance to try and fit two bikes in my car for the drive up back to Seattle next week, that would be great. $300 for a 1988 Trek 560 with True Temper tubing and some sexy tight racing geometry is a good deal. Seller says 24.5" frame...It's a 25.5" trust me. I would primarily be going after the frameset here (a "frame dive" as I internally term it) with the intention of going STI/Ergo with it (just gotta buy more parts....), and selling off the other pieces while keeping the wheels. Part of all of this N+1 business for me is experiencing the ride and character of frames, and I've been passively looking for a Trek x60 frame for a while. Kinda don't want to take a perfectly good complete bike like this and do it. I did it with my Masi, but the parts were all over the place and the 'composition' was lacking. That's different enough to me. A frame dive in the efforts to rescue it.

I keep buying other Treks my size but not keeping them. Maybe that's a clue... I have projects in the queue and I go, "C'mon RoS, follow through and complete your other stuff like you normally do, sell what you need to sell, and ride what you have already. Adding a #8 starts taking up more room and you know you'll regret it via anxiety over 'my bike enthusiasm is taking over me'--so spare yourself. Another will come up. You're just antsy because it's still raining all the time."

Oh my! I've got a mid-80s Klein Performance, 54cm. 55cm might be a hair too big for me, but I'd risk it if I had any money.

For A Francophile

French bicycle Follis '70's - $225 (High Point)

"This is a fantastic bike, a joy to ride! Early to mid '70s, made in France. Follis is a well respected name in the cycling world producing quality machines, this is no exception. Seat tube 60cm c-c, top tube 58cm c-c; Reynolds DB 531 frame tubes, Simplex rear dropouts. Mavic Module E-3 700c rims on Maillard LF hubs, 700x28 Vittoria Randonneur tires in great shape. Suntour VGt rear derailler, 6 speed Suntour freewheel, Suntour Spirt front derailler, very nice Simplex shifters. Nervar Star 170mm crankset, 52/40 w/ Nervar Star BB, French pedal threads. GB randonneur bars, Competition stem, Mafac "Competition" brakes and levers w/ half hoods; ADGA leather saddle on Campy-style fluted seatpost. Stainless steel fenders w Pixeo rear light. The frame is straight w no dents or dings, some surface rust, paint job is OK, looks pretty good actually but not professional, I get a lot of compliments on it! It really is a super ride, light, fast and responsive, all quality components. Headset, BB, and wheel hubs cleaned and greased, ready for adventures!"

Looking for a home for this classic LeMond road bike. I love rooting for the good guy and appreciate the history behind Greg LeMond and his bikes. Still rides like a dream, 853 Reynolds steel that has an unmatched feel. Maillot Jaune was the top of the line LeMond back in the day. I took off some of the decal because I liked the cleaner look. Some scratches and nicks on paint, but everything is in great working shape. Take a look at the pictures for componentry. Specialized Romin saddles. Dura-ace front derailleur, Campy Record rear derailleur, brakes, and shifters. Thomson seatpost and stem. Profile Design handlebar. Bar tape is relatively new. Will throw in the red pedals if needed. Kills me to let this one go, but we just got a puppy and you know how that goes. Thanks for looking!

Some random crap I tossed in my watchlist recently. Baremetal Lygie is probably the most interesting to my taste. LC is a repaint but love the color. Figured one or two of these could be fun projects for BF'ers.
