If anyone knows Univegas, I have what is probably a stupid question. I bought a Sport for my niece off my room mate for her birthday, then my other niece wanted one just like it, just my luck I scored a Sportour on CL for $50 that had been professionally redone by a local bike shop and never ridden. My niece doesn't like the brake cables on the Sportour coming out the top. So is it the specific brake levers that feed it out the top vs. the back or can this type also be fed out the back so that the cabled can be taped under the handlebars?

I think you are talking about aero vs non-aero road brake levers. Yes, aero levers are a different type. Go ahead and start your own thread if you have more questions about it. And post pics!

This one should be sold already. What a beautiful bike. If I didn't have too many projects and too little money right now I'd be asking for a facilitator.

Based on the color, it looks like a 1984 720. There was no 720 in 1986. But yeah, screaming deal. Somebody snag it!

Trek 720 "screaming deal"

There will be some screaming alright when the new owner applies that rear brake! Check the position of the pads in comparison to the tire/rim. Be careful!

I came here to post this Series 50 too. The price is good but not crazy-low since these Panasonic produced Paramounts don't get a ton of respect. I got a Series 70 for a little less, but mine has worse paint & decals. Someone buy this and post to the "splatter paint" thread.

So you've been looking for a mixte? A Univega mixte? A mountain style mixte?
I found out about the alpina uno when I found a regular diamond version of frame in blue. When i heard about the pink mixte version, I decided that was to be my next grail, to add to my collection of pink bicycles. I'm unable to get on a few of them as of late due to my hip; therefore, my only solution is to find a pink alpino uno mixte to turn into an adventure bicycle!

tl;dr: blah blah blah, trade me your pink mtb mixte for fancy stuff.

I'm never quite sure what the hierarchy of Ross Signature bikes is, but here's a 292S at what appears to be a good price. Sorry for the crappy pic. Blame the seller.

From lower to higher in the hierarchy: 290S, 292S, 294S. My wife has a 292S that I picked up from Goodwill for $15. It is an ok bike. Nothing special by any means.
