I dunno if this is worth $1500, but it's still mouthwatering none the less.

can't tell if its just the optical illusion of the cable running down, or its got a bend at that top tube... i stuck a ruler on it and it seems a bit bent... but perhaps its just camera distortion + cable run that makes it look that way.

Too Cool For A Clever Caption, And 112 Years Old Too; Respect.

1915 Gendron Motobike - $1200 (Virginia Beach)

"Selling my 28", tall (21" center crank to top of seat post), Gendron Motobike. I am not sure of the year, my guess is 1915 + or - a year or two. Bike comes as eaquiped including what appears to be a bullet hole (entry and exit) on the rear fender, note the unique fork."

(Alleged "bullet hole".)

Centurion Cinelli Equipe

Seller says 52-53cm, but it looks more like 59-60cm to me:

^ he added more.. but NOT a lot of help.

On Mar-11-17 at 16:51:13 PST, seller added the following information:I went out to measure the bike frame and according to the tape measure, the bike measures 24 inches from the seat post to the pedals mount on.

That's more accurate: a bit over 60cm.

Trek 520 - $420 (Somerville)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)

Selling my vintage Trek 520 touring bike. Awesome classic ride with comfortable touring geometry.

Bike has maybe a few miles on a fresh tune up as well as the new tires, brake pads, and cables. Rides like a dream.

57cm Reynolds 501 frame, Suntour 18 speed drive train with Cyclone long cage. Sakae crank with small bailout gear for loaded up touring. Awesome Dia-compe cantilever brakes for extra stopping power. Malliard hubs with Matrix Safari rims.

Period correct aluminum Jim Blackburn rear rack.

These bikes are getting hard to find as people who own them don't want to give them up.

Having seen one of these in the flesh, I can say the price is probably good. They are beautiful bikes. Full 600AX aero group including the aero stem which is about the nicest looking stem I've ever seen.

I was in Dream Bikes Milwaukee today to donate some stuff and they had some new looking Shimano 600 tri color pedals in the pedal bin. Had tags on as if they were some NOS from somewhere.

I'm not, just watching to see where it goes.

EDIT: sold for $407 + $55 shipping. Not bad for a stock Centurion Cinelli Equipe!

Wow that's cheap. That's half the price the last one sold for, a 52 or something small.

Caught my eye but do not know french bikes, esp old track. No drill holes and bcm lugs seem promising though.

I was looking at the DT/HT and thinking the same thing. The wheel looks awful close to the DT but then again it isn't straight or a straight on shot.
