This looks nice. Is it worth anything?

if this is the same seller that ebr898 and I have both tried to work with, he can be very difficult to contact or maintain any communication with. I've sent him several emails on various items he's had for sale and have never gotten a response; I know Erin went around with him on trying to pick up a pair of vintage road shoes he had for sale and the guy responded a couple of times and just dropped off the face of the earth. He's a fairly regular seller on the KC CL. As for the bike, it looks nice but is probably overpriced a bit.

Here's a $75 Raleigh Pro frameset. Only catch is there's been some serious rebrazing going on. Perhaps it was in a crash and the top tube was replaced? Or someone modified a very tall frame by chopping off the seat lug and upper head-tube lug? Pretty odd:

Thanks for the inside info! Perhaps mentioning I'm local might make a difference. I know some people who can't handle dealing with any complications of any sort. This fellow might be of that breed.

That LaPierre is very unspecial and most definitely not worth $225.

now, that's unusual...the same run-of-the-mill early '80s Pug sold here in east TN for $5 more just today (I know, because I sent someone the CL link & he bought it)...refreshing to see the price not being pimped there in NJ. But, not refreshing to know that I also own a 60cm Peugeot U8 Carbolite road bike that is apparently worth $50 on a good, sunny day down in the hills of TN

I have a freind who has about 85 bikes that her father was collecting and he passed away. she is looking to sell entire lot for 300 dollars or come pick and chose for 10 dollars each. these bikes are all older and almost every bike needs repaired in some way, please email me at robert.wayne.taylor@us.army.mil or call me at 724-664-3778 and if your interested i will hook you up with her. there are about 30 each 20inch bikes and the rest are all old larger frame. none of them have tanks or are very expencive bikes that people are looking for, so if thats what you want dont bother calling. if someone just wants a cheep bike to fix up give me a call these bikes need to go and 10 dollars each is a great price. thanks bob.

This guy is asking $2200 for a 1970 Coppi that is "nearly original", but I'm skeptical.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/1299170368.html

The bike seems to be missing the downtube and top tube decals that are typically on a Coppi like this. Also, I doubt they came in white--they were typically pearl grey. The NR crankset also seems to be newer, I'd bet that Coppi came with a Nervar Star crankset.

I'd pay $600 for the bike. $2200 just just dreaming.

Anybody want to go in on this deal? I could take 5 or so, but I don't have near enough room for 30 more.

If you're interested send me a PM, I got the details from the seller.

I haven't been able to get a response yet =S How does that tubing compare to Tange? And what components do they come with?

EDIT: Would this be the same specs? https://www.vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1987.htm#page14

If you get a phone number, google it. It will give you some idea on how the seller operates.
