This bike is the last of the very popular cult following Bridgestone RB-1 (1994). Japanese double-butted Tange tubing
This bike was built up with a complete Campagnolo Athena group set from new (1994) and has only been ridden 4 times in its life and was always stored indoors.

This means it is for all intensive purposes "as new" condition, it even still has the plastic film over the headtube badge which is exceedingly rare for a bike over 23 years old.

Everything works perfectly, all brakes, and shifter cables are in perfect condition and the bike rides beautifully, it rides very similar to a Pro Keirin track bike.

I believe it is similar to High Tensile steel but the alloy includes Magnesium of around 14% to make it stronger. It is better than High Tensile or Hi Ten but not as light as a Cromoly frame

The thinness may be somewhat illusionary from the angle but I think they are C-Rec. If you look at the right one it seems the crank bolt is in the back of the arm. Looks like tubular tires too.

The Peugeot version of mangalloy is called HLE, for Haute Limite Elastique. It is a "micro-alloyed steel" consisting of manganese, niobium, aluminum, and titanium.

From wikipedia: Mangalloy, also called manganese steel or Hadfield steel, is a steel alloy containing an average of around 13% manganese. Mangalloy is known for its high impact strength and resistance to abrasion once in its work-hardened state.

From the Retrogrouch: Tange also made a manganese molybdenum alloy, Mangaloy 2001, that should have compared pretty favorably to Reynolds 531, at least in terms of its basic characteristics, though it was heavier, (thicker walled than Reynolds) much less expensive, and generally found on lower-end models. In the early 80s, some lower priced Treks (such as the 400 series) were built with it.

I've searched high and low, but cannot find any documented strength testing comparison between mangalloy and chrome moly. My conclusion is that it may be similar to Fuji VaLite, in that it is superior to hi-ten steel for bicycle frames, but perhaps not quite as good as chrome moly.

Older Bianchi "Campione D'Italia" 12-speed road bike with large 22"/56cm frame, Made In Italy in 1987.

The frame is lugged and built from Formula Two Columbus tubing, as is the front fork.
It has Suntour components with indexed shifters on the downtube, Modolo brakes, aluminum rear rack, and Sakae bars with good bar tape.

The rear wheel is the original "Ambrosio 19 Extra Elite, Durex" which is in very good condition, but the tire is an older Michelin that is cracking and in need of replacement. It is holding fine at the moment, but should be replaced before doing any serious riding.
The front wheel is a newer replacement with a Joytech hub and Continental Gatorskin tire.
The pearlescent white paint shows its age, and the top tube decals are worn off, but it remains a high quality Italian bicycle frame.

It rides remarkably well as-is, but would certainly benefit from some routine maintenance, etc.
It would also make a great restoration project or basis for fixed/single-speed conversion.

Trek 520 touring bike(1989 model). 24"/61cm cro-moly steel frame with a standover height of 34". Good size for someone from 6' and up. Has 21 speed Shimano indexed drivetrain, bar end index shifters, Deore front and rear derailers, 105 brake levers, cantilever brakes, 105 hubs laced with stainless steel spokes onto Matrix Titan T rims, Avocet saddle, Blackburn rear rack, and flickstand. Frame has braze ons for extra waterbottle cages, fenders and front low rider front rack. New tires and tubes put on last fall with near zero miles. Original except that I changed to hybrid style stem and a wider handlebar for a more upright riding height. I used this bike sparingly over the years for camping trips and century club rides, not everyday use. In very good condition, $450.
