make / manufacturer: Schwinn
model name / number: Paramount

See the pictures. Beautiful 1989 Waterford-built Schwinn Paramount. Original bike. It's all there! All it needs is a good cleaning and some handlebar tape. Loaded with early Dura-Ace components, custom-built wheels, etc. Awesome bike. at 60 cm, it's simply too tall for me. If it was a 56 this would be staying with me!

Some light wear, but no dents nor damage whatsoever. Awesome bike for your riding pleasure or classic steel collection.

Sorry I was thinking Reynolds 531 for some reason but a quick scan of ebay shows they used about everything at one time or another.

Looks like SLX in sizes under 57, SL/SP mix for bigger ones.

Then apparently there are Paramount Tubing ones.

Vintage Bottecchia Campagnolo C-Record Delta SLX - Nice! - $2250 (Wakefield)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)

condition: excellent
Late 80's Bottecchia C-Record Columbus SLX for sale. In beautiful condition, this bike was lightly ridden a few times and then kept in a collection. Complete Campagnolo C-record group including the hubs, freewheel and aero pedals (not shown). Wheels are also Campy. All original except for the NOS perforated leather Cinelli saddle (though I have the original Selle Italia Turbo too). This bike was expertly crafted quite possibly by the same Bottecchia Reparto Corse (race division) artisans responsible for Greg Lemond's tour de france bikes. The brazing/lug work - with long, cut-out finely thinned lugs - is exceptional, as is the paint. All in all, one of the nicer classic production bikes you're going to see. It measures 57 cm ctc for both the seat and top tubes, with a nearly 33" standover height. Collect or ride, or both. Asking $2,250.

Rare Custom LANDSHARK RoadShark - $1100 (Harvard Sq.)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: LANDSHARK
model name / number: Road Shark
size / dimensions: 51 cm
This is a peace of cycling history. A late 80's - early 90's LandShark Road Shark, in excellent condition. This beautiful handmade bicycle was built here in the USA by John Slawta. His work is easily some of the most recognizable in the world. While many have attempted to emulate his paint jobs over the years, even a subtle coat like this one is still strikingly unique. Landsharks are known for one thing: their paint, which is a shame. It's only a disservice in the sense that Slawta's fillets are undeniably clean.

Whereas some builders need to cover their work with flashy paint (called the pig with lipstick phenom), Slawta could walk away with a single color just fine. Yet, his bikes are all wild.

This bike comes with Full Campagnolo Athena group set, that includes Hubs, BB, Seat Post, Headset, Qill stem. All parts are in great condition and look almost new to me.

Frame Size: 51 cm, ideal rider height would be 5'5" - 5'8"

Crank size: 170

Leather TURBO saddel

700c Wheels

18mm Gum wall Tires

I am a full time bike mechanic, and this has been tuned up and is ready to ride. Im asking $1,100 cash in hand, but open to discussion on the price. Im on the out look for a bikepacking set up, looking for help.

Contact me for a test ride.

Cheers!

Not e-Bay or Craigslist, necessarily... I was just browsing Amazon and ran across a "heart-shaped bicycle tail light". Google it if you want a chuckle.

If you can get past the threadless fork/stem, this is a very nice frame. Made by Tom Neenan, the original designer for early Specialized.
