OK, not really "vintage", but very "classic"! I absolutely love the color.

I have a bunch of bikes for sale, and will add a couple more in the coming days.

Raleigh International 23" frame 700C wheels $1175.00 + shipping
Full Campagnolo, including chainguard ( what they call a Cyclocross Bash Guard -
about $100). Originally with a Campagnolo drive group and Weinmann centerpull
brakes, this bicycle has been upgraded to Campagnolo Record side pull brakes,
completing the group. Overall the frame is in very good condition(8/10), with a
few blemishes as you would expect from a ridden bicycle that is 40 years old.
The other upgrade is a set of precision bottle mountsin the frame. This bicycle
would have used clamps, potentially damaging the frame to hold a water bottle
cage and the inserts are professionally installed. #81010
See ad for other bikes for sale.

If you've got a city bike project on the back burner, this might solve your shifter issues. Five-speed (who needs more?) or, if you must, throw on a suicide shifter.

1964 Schwinn Paramount - $400!!!

Talk about some history, a ton of patina, and really just a total sleeper. A bunch of nice Campagnolo stuff (high flange wheels, etc.). Seller says 62cm, and probably means CTC, because, uhhhhh, that's a 25" frame. Stand over height of 34.5" or so corroborates the proportion etc as a 25" framed bike. And I just got done restoring my 25" 1974 P15! I like the bike, and the price is a steal as it just has this cool very quasi board track bike look to it. You can see the Nervex lugs, and I wonder/hope the chrome is still good underneath.

Somebody give this a home!

Whoa, I've got at least three bikes that I could use those on! Are they vintage, or current production?

Wait, I suppose if they were current, they would be "Sun Race" or something, right?

If vintage, what are they called so I can do a proper search?

Thanks,
DQR

DQ, they are vintage. Look for "Suntour Power Ratchet Thumb Shifters." Although I don't see these pop up very often.

There is one hanging from the ceiling in a bike shop in Hudson, WI. It looks pristine from down on the floor, and talking to the owner, I get the impression that it was bought as an investment. They keep a mop nearby to deal with the frequent drool puddles underneath it.

This seems a little pricey for what it actually is but it's been posted for a month so maybe someone could talk him down, unless it is sold and still posted. There isn't much to go one but I think it is an '85 Vittoria, with the Columbus Special frame and Victory group.

Sigh, I definitely would if it was one size smaller. The combo of fender/rack braze-ons and nice tubeset is really enticing. My fave ride is a 613 and this would make a nice complement to that.
