make / manufacturer: Cinelli
model name / number: Supercorsa
size / dimensions: 56 x 56
56cm Cinelli Supercorsa, Campagnolo 3x8 This bike is a rider, not a showpiece - some pitting on chrome lugs and a few amateur touchups in the paint. Columbus tubing sticker and the ill-advised little plastic Cinelli buttons at the tops of the seatstays are gone That said it is straight, sound and stunning, dead quiet to ride. I've had several Campy ergo shift setups and this is by far the smoothest of the ones that I have experienced. Brakes hubs and levers are Chorus, crank and derailleurs are Racing Triple. Stem and bars are Cinelli. Brand new 700/28 Gatorskins mounted, 700/23 Michelins included. The hubs are the last truly gorgeous Campagnolo hubs, contoured and hand-polished. The Supercorsa is the progenitor of all Italian stage bikes and presents and rides as such - it will be around long after the carbon craze has been replaced by the next big thing. It's ready to ride: I just have too many bikes.

58 x 57 Pinarello Catena Lusso
Columbus Matrix tubing. Shimano 600 grouppo w Mavic rims
21 lbs as seen
Tires are showing dry rot

It's been buried in my garage for 7-8 years after i got it w no rear derailleur from a CT bike shop spring sale.
It now wears a cosmetically impaired 8-9sp Ultegra

I've not used it as i thought i may so it's time to move it
It's a worthy ride no doubt

Third is a late 80's Trek Antelope. Comes with a seatpost, seat and bottom bracket. Seat tube is 21 inches and the top tube is 22 inches.

Finally a mid 1990's Trek 830. Label says 21 inch frame. One of the rear cantinposts is starting to be stripped but could be salvaged. Comes with a seatpost.

The seller calls that Fuji Roubaix color "magenta". In that 1987 catalog Fuji calls it "Wine Mist", which sounds like "Fog of Alcohol" to me. :)

I need to stop reading this forum because I keep wanting to spend money I don't have. I don't even ride the bike I own enough. I just like tinkering with bikes and dreaming up frankenbike builds.

Thank you guys for separating the wheat from the chaff of Craigslist!

Franklin Custom tandem build for 6' and 5'6" person - $475

https://syracuse.craigslist.org/bik/6115393154.html

"For sale is a 1985 custom Franklin tandem bicycle in good shape. Everything works on this tandem it has front and rear rim brakes along with a rear drum brake for extra stopping power. It's 18 speed (3 front 6 back) with a shimano drive train."

I don't know much about Franklin, I other than that they are a well-regarded custom builder from the Columbus, OH area. Seller is entertaining offers. This has been posted for a couple months.

"Up for sale, a gorgeous, vintage Zanella Italian Road Bike. Frame size is 59cm. This is a beautifully made lugged steel frame and is surprisingly light weight. The bike shifts and rides smoothly. Tires recently replaced with super durable Gatorskin Hardshell Ultra 700x23. Would also make a great contender for a single speed or fixed gear bike as well if that's your thing. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks."

Really nice original 1986 Trek 500 tri series. Mallard hubs shimano 600 group SR cranks. No dents, the wheels are straight. I'm pretty sure this is all original except the tires bar tape and cables. Really nice red white fade color. This is one of the handmade in Wisconsin treks. These higher end 80s road bikes are getting harder to find.

Maybe they think Univega is Italian because it's equipped with Campy?

I suspect it's an "Ital Sport" model. Enlarging the (non) drive side photo doesn't quite afford the resolution to be certain, but it appears to read "ital sport". he Triomphe downtube lever would be consistent. So it would be a triple butted, Miyata framed, Campy equipped red bike at a reasonable price point?

(Photos are simply awful, and I find the hand in the pictures amusing. So there's that?)

I'd have gotten it as N+1, if I thought I could hide it from my wife, if it were in DC, and if it was bigger.
