On ebay this style and brand up bike is going for $1500-2500, however, I've haven't used it in years so it is in relativity good condition. Anyone near Milwaukee? The 80s Trek 610 is back for $100 BIN on eBay, local pickup only. I see a 531 sticker ... quick scan I don't see dents or rust, but it definitely needs some TLC to be friggin awesome again.

I'm in Chicago, and have been sort of looking for a vintagey sort of bike. How nice are these?
Edit: oh nevermind...just noticed it's a 19"...don't think I'll squeeze onto that. If you're hunting for something C&V that's very rideable, domestic, sturdy, light, but options, pre-90s Trek mid-range bujes are a no-brainer. |

For the tall Trek collector this is a fine deal on a tx700 with a nice Ideal saddle @250
https://cosprings.craigslist.org/bik/6140623829.html Probably worth it in parts alone (TA crank, barcons, racks, ideal saddle, 1st gen cyclones) https://images.craigslist.org/00v0v_...m_1200x900.jpg |

1985 Trek 770 in Pink! I texted him this afternoon, and if my Miyata 912 was smaller he might've traded me! He's looking for a nice vintage bike to fit him, he's 5'5. Damn, I want this bike. https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/6143853042.html |

Also, "time capsule" UE-18 here in Asheville NC for $100. Bone stock, balls still on the ivory levers, grips are still white  stock pump, Mafac brake toolkit, and fenders which will net the ask price alone selling on eBay. Those are probably the stock tires, actually, I've seen my fair share of the yellow-dot 27" Michelins on early-mid 70s French bikes.

1992 Paramount Series 90 lugged steel mtb frameset - gorgeous! - $250 (chapel hill)
https://images.craigslist.org/00909_...Q_1200x900.jpg "No, this is not a Waterford-built frame...but trust me, if it fits you want it. This frame was built by hand by the kerin guys at Panasonic and is awfully close to the Waterfords in terms of craftsmanship, but without the custom paint. It is made of custom-flared Prestige tubing silver-brazed into investment-cast lugs with integral cable stops and guides, and includes a nicely finished Prestige unicrown w/cast Tange dropouts. Gorgeous! Clean internally...check out the BB! Worst paint chips are underneath chainstays, as pictured. This '92 wears a crazy purple/blue iradescent "blue velvet gas" color that is stunning in the right light. 15" seat tube (center to top), 21.5" top tub (center to center)." https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/6144448166.html |
I've had two of those Mens Sana Cinellis, boith 58's. Great riding bikes, not many of them out there. Mine were made in 90 and 91, according to the serial numbers.
One was a new display model out of a dealer in upstate New York. Put Shimano tricolor on it (yes, those are the rare 6400 series non-aero brake levers) and sold it for around $800 to a guy in DC. http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps83a2f2c6.jpg The other was purchased from Tom Kellogg at Spectrum. He had done a full restoration on the frame, including a rechroming, painted up and decaled like a Supercorsa. I installed a full Super Record Pat 83 group and ride it quite a bit- seen at L'Eroica CA 2016 as well as the Dairyland Dare last August: http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/y...psnazddpej.jpg |

$200 Centurion Centurion Dave Scott Ironman. Shimano 105 Components. Wolber Rims. 54 Cm Frame. Standover is 31.5 Inches. Tange 1 Frame. 1988 Model. Bike is in really nice shape. The Continental Sport Tires have about 300 miles on them. Paint although not perfect is very nice. Just under a 9 out of a 10. I think the only thing this bike needs is a rider. The only reason I am parting with the bike is I have moved to a hybrid. It's just sitting and it really need to be ridden. Stored inside. I shifted the handle bars back. This can be easily remedied. New handle bar tape. And new brake handle hoods. I only deal by email. No phone calls please. If it's listed it's available. No trades with the exception of music (Records that have to be unusual). ---- https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...125890283.html $325 PDG 2 Mint condition time capsule 1992 Schwinn Paramount Series 2 PDG road bike. Size 54 cm. All original. Rides and as good as it look! Steel frame. Shimano Exage 500 components. 2 x 7 index shifting. |

I'm trying not to buy more bikes, so I'm glad this frame isn't my size. The front rack alone is probably worth half of the asking price:

He made wonderful frames (he apprenticed in Italy for quite some time), and this one, with very nice lugwork, is no exception. It has a Campagnolo Nuovo Record drivetrain in great condition (including Campy headset, bottom bracket and pedals), Cinelli bars and stem, and Dura Ace brakes. The bike shifts and rides very well - smooth, quick and responsive. It has a seat tube that measures just under 53cm center-to-center and a top tube just over 53cm, with an almost 32" standover height, thereby best fitting someone of medium height. The decals on the bike are very cool and virtually fully intact. The original paint is bright and looks nice, but has some large areas on the top tube that have been touched-up. A very rare bike - there's a good chance you'll never run across another. Asking $575. do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers |
