I don't know.... I know nothing about '60s Bianchis but few things seem off to me. Why is there only one cable guide on the BB shell? Why is there a stop for a cable clamp and shifter bosses? Did frames have bottle bosses in the '60s? If your going to put a set ona frame why not put two? CycleArt left a frame leave with runs in the clear coat?

1981 Trek Mountain Bike Frame - $20 (Saint Charles)hide this posting unhide
<image 1 of 23>

1981 Trek 650 mountain bike double butted Champion steel frame. 19". Some surface rust. Was hand painted with Rustoleum with a brush 15 years ago. Includes blackburn rack that I cannot get off without totally stripping the screw heads. One owner (me) bought new in 1981. Never wrecked. As is.
If interested please include your phone number in email.
Thank you, Carl

Local pick-up only. Slammed seat post should be checked.

I'd buy this bike at $150 even with a stuck seatpost. It's a fine bike. I just picked up a 1972 Fuji Finest with a stuck stem so I'm not lookng to buy another Japanese bike at this point.i

Not my size, or clip style, but a steal on some top-notch Marresi/Dromarti leather shoes. Size 46 but they run small. I have a pair of 48s that fit me, though I wear a 46 in Shimano or Vittoria.

Barely Worn Marresi Cycling Shoes - Size 46 (Black and Red)

I wasn't sure where to post this, but thought maybe somebody here would be looking for the ultimate custom mountain/road/hybrid/funk/rididfrontsuspension bike.

https://offerup.com/item/detail/324510546/?ref=Search

Some pretty sweet upgrades, like the bar end on the seat post to hang your, ummm colostomy bag? Bungee toe straps, bars and grips for short right arm top, and long lefty drop rider (with brakes on opposite sides so you can't accidentally brake), epoxied rigid front suspension for better handling, custom pvc stem cap, this list goes on. Stock kick stand.

Maybe if you've never seen a bike it will make sense.

Dunno enough about Nagos to know if this is a good deal, but seems cool. Might not be Italian parts but can't hate on Dura Ace. About to buy it just for that stem, hubs and seat/seatpost combo.

Crazy insane $65 OBO deal for Denver CO folks.

Vintage Motobecane Bicycle | eBay

Stronglight and Campy-NR equipped Moto Grand Record that needs some TLC on the frame, this is the kind of thing I pounce on locally! This would make an incredible $300-400 sale after overhaul, although I suspect a parts vulture will buy it and sell off this all-original gem in pieces (ok, hubs don't match, everything else looks stock).

Serial number from ad says 1970, other details say P13-9, nice bike though.

Was looking at pics from the ad, the drive side dropout shows some porosity in the weld at the chainstay joint, I wonder if this was a repair?

N+1 Strikes Again

I know my profile says "I finally have all the bikes I need", but... well... you know how it goes.

Today is my birthday, and my family bought me this:

How about that?

I think this belongs in the Wacky thread. With that brake lever setup, a fixed without brakes would probably stop faster.

Love the asymmetrical placement of the grips and the jury-rigged "toe straps" on the pedals. The more you look, the more you think "wtf?".

OK there you go thanks. I didn't know there was a wacky thread but this definitely fits. I'm still trying to figure out if they've never seen a bike before, or if this is intentional, just to mess with people. If it wasn't a scurvy Roadmaster brand I'd buy it just to see if it's ride-able, haha.

The scam ad is in my town...Glad I kept reading or I might've contacted them lol
I believe it's been said on this thread that the scam is to get emails and numbers to sell...or something like that.
