Varsity in southern Delaware
Here is a green Varsity for the Varsinental lovers. Looks like it may be all original and in very good condition.

Vintage Guerciotti Road Bike - $150 (Waxhaw)

"Vintage Guerciotti 12 speed Road bike. Classic Red White and blue design really stands out. It has Shimano 105 components, Carbon Look pedals, a San Marino seat and comes with a Specialized bike computer. This is a fast bike especially considering the age of this bike. Gears need to be adjusted, frame is in good shape. I am not sure of the size but definitely for a taller person. 5'11 and taller."
https://charlotte.craigslist.org/bik...271643636.html
(Sure it's "only" Aelle and 105, but it is pretty and only $150?)

Most all of them only have an email to contact. Good idea though for those with numbers.
I reported a few today. All the too good to be true ads I saw, I would C/P some of the text and google it. It would bring up all the other ads that shared the same text and I could find the real ad, letting me know the ones on my CL were really fake. Today, they all linked to real ads in Cali.

Fill me in as to what could be so bad that this bike isn't sold by now? Otherwise, I'm an antique/cruiser guy but I like to learn.

I like this frame a lot better than the one with that red triangle dangling by a shock like a scab leaving a booboo.

The Japanese Paramounts aren't as desirable as the Chicago or Waterford bikes. Shimano 105, while a serviceable group is far from top shelf and, to me, the white tires look silly. I think $450 - $500 would be tops for the bike.

Granted...for $2200 you'd think he could take a few quasi-useful photos...but it is a neat bike, and priced fairly. I BELIEVE @miamijim had one of these.

Something about it also gives me the vague whift of estate buyer...or basement cleaner. I generally dislike dealing with those folks.

Not a custom, but given the components, might be an early Taiwanese RRB:
