The Pomeranian is the saddle.

You whippersnappers don't remember selling covers like that. The one pictured probably doesn't have five miles on it or it would have begun to pack down a bit.

Never saw that on a bike, but my friend had that on the seats of his Mustang II in high school.

Interesting Ross. I have a Sig. 294S but it has regular lugs. I wonder if the combination of lugs/filet implies special handbuilt status.

It may be a perfectly nice rider, but it doesn't look 'excellent' to me, even in a picture over the internet. It is my size, though (or close enough)...

I don't believe it's one of the Kellogg or redcay customs if that's what you mean.

I think it might be. Fork tips are not the crappy production Ross Safety C-shaped monstrosities, so if it were my size I'd grab it on the off chance it's a prize.

Not an expert, but I really don't think so. I know it's not a Kellogg...those had campy drop outs, 531, Kellogg's name on the stay and a different fork crown. The work at the seatcluster also looks less neat. I don't think Redcay changed them that much. I think it's a nice production signature.

Here's the real McCoy...

That's a fully original and complete Peleton, but it looks like is as put away wet with a significant amount of surface corrosion to clean. If it was local I'd snipe at it and it would make a nice winter project.

Yes, if the price stays low it's a good buy I think, but it'll take some work to get it looking good again. I lucked out, mine was in almost mint condition - it was the original owner's spare bike and rarely got ridden. Took me awhile to get over my fear of tubulars but now it's one of my favorite rides.

Yep, closed at $151.50. Condition considered, a good price I think. It kills me that a lot of sellers don't realize (or care) that they'd do better if they'd ship - or at least note that they'd be willing to take to a bike shop for packing/shipping at the buyer's option. Especially when they're out in the boonies.

Meh, I'm sure that topic's been beat to death somewhere in the forums....

Or, that they would write anything that resembles a description. He used 17 words for two auctions. When asked the size of the Peleton, answered that he was not home.

Interesting.... someone turned this mid-level racer into a mid-level sport tourer...

https://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bi...290834471.html

Vintage Club Fuji - $220 (Amherst)

craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap
(google map)

make / manufacturer: Fuji
model name / number: Club
serial number: KD 51 1348
size / dimensions: 20.5 inches or 52 cm
A vintage custom 18 speed road bike set up for low gearing and regular gearing. This will let you climb the steepest hills with ease. Originally, this Club Fuji was an intermediate racing bicycle with quad-butted VaLite tubing for the frame. It has been upgraded with better components than original. The rims, hubs, brakes, pedals, and handlebars are original. Of course so is the frame that has some minor scratches. Always garaged, maintained and kept in good condition by former bicycle mechanic.

Specifications:
Shimano Deore LX Triple crank (46, 36, 24)
Shimano 600 sealed rear cog - 13, 15, 17, 20, 24, 28
Front and Rear derailleurs = Shimano Deore LX
Front and rear wheels 700 x 25C Ukai rims with Suntour LePree sealed hubs 3 cross spokes

The saddle needs to be replaced but because that is so personal, the buyer can install their own. But if you bring your own saddle, I can install it for you at time of sale. This was my wife's beloved bicycle and she is 5 ft. 5 in. tall. Serious inquires only. Thanks for looking and please email with any questions.
