I'm sure it's a nice ride, with some expensive parts, but . . . . $7000.00?

I like mine, but I know better than to attempt any long rides on it.
you're right, " I " was the ferocious climber. ( grew up in fitchburg massachusetts, google it, second hilliest city in the country ) , but my canny was the only frame that let me rip as hard as i could.

Grainy picture, open to negotiate... This is where I have fun looking for bikes!
Could be a great deal...wheels look like a mismatch though and something about that fork doesn't look quite right to me. Hard to say though from that pic.

Centurion Le Mans Shimano Exage 58cm frame 700c wheels rear rack - $180 (Allston)

make / manufacturer: Centurion
model name / number: Le Mans
I have a Centurion Le Mans with a 58cm frame and 700c wheels with continental tires that hold air well. It has a shimano Exage sport component set up that easily shifts through the 12 speeds. It does not miss a beat. This bike has been great for me in the city as it handles bumps well for a road bike. The frame is in good condition and has been garaged its whole life. The rear rack makes getting groceries much easier. This bike is truly a great ride. The wheels are true and are good to go. 207-332-4524, I am open to cash or trade

I'm typically a Riv fan but something about those two in particular is putting me off. Pretty odd to have gone through the wait for two Rivs just to turn around and sell them right away.

$150

Late 1980's Centurion LeMans RS road bike (1987, I believe). 12 speed with Shimano Exage SIS. XL 25" or 63cm frame, Tange 2 chro-moly steel frame.
Arya 700c wheels, Sugino Crank, Dia Comp brakes. I used as starter bike on trainer, but have rode some outside. Decent quality bike for its day, can use on trainer, convert to fixie, or ride as is. Selling as I have purchased a new bike.

Centurion ironman for sale - $325 (Somerville)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
Highland street at Central street
(google map)

make / manufacturer: Centurion
model name / number: Ironman David Scott
size / dimensions: 50cm
Selling a centurion. I began building it up and decided not to continue. I put new tires (panracer paesella 700×28), new front wheel, and new 6 speed cassette on. All other parts on bike such as chainrings, bottom bracket, and break pads are in great shape. It has friction shifting.

Frame has a few spots where the paint chipped that are dusty. See photos for detailed. Bike has been kept inside entire time I've had it. Previous owner stored inside as well.

This bike is nearly ready to ride - it needs break cables, pedals (both of which I have and can give to you), and bar tape.

Bike size is 50cm - feel free to ask for more specific top tube measurements.

Seems high to me, what with the wheels seeming to be the only parts that are in great shape. Too bad they aren't both Wolbers.
