'74 Super Course MKII. I have enough to work on and the slush fund is shot for now or I might be interested. It's a wee pricey with shipping, but I've always been a sucker for Huret Jubilee derailleurs. Too bad the FD isn't but still...

this is a desirable example as it has the chainset upgrade from Sport to Star and the gear upgrade from Challenger rear mech and lever set to Jubile. still has the specification Challenger front mech. Nice to find one so largely original and in good shape. 1974 was launch year for Mk.II. Sadly there is no shipping. Marked for pickup only. Do we have any readers at the Naval Air Station?

Here's a nice Rossin with a Chorus group for $700 in Burbank, CA. White bar tape would be the only change I'd make....love it.

I must have been hallucinating the shipping, sorry. It is a really nice looking specimen and it would be good if a forum member wound up with it.

Thanks for sharing it all the same, a good find on your part!

Wanted very much to get one at launch but am squarely in the middle between two sizes.

I just realized where I got shipping from - my tablet eBay app is showing the bike as "Starting bid $250 + 86.89 shipping" (I never closed the page). When I looked after your note on my laptop I didn't see it but now, strangely, it's there again. $86.89 economy shipping. I had to reload and check again before I sent this because now I'm getting gunshy on it.

So we were both right at different times... Okay, a little weirdness for today, why not? And here I thought it was just because I'd only had one cup of coffee..

Regardless of all of that, it may make it more of a possibility for an interested forum member - that's the main thing.

wrt the "$86.99 economy shipping" - your experience reminds me of those ebay listings one sometimes runs across which list a shipping charge of something like $29,000 or $1,000,000. too much of an ebay tyro to understand those.

I have a couple of @iab's reproductions. Here's the (I presume) original Cinelli tubular holder. Seller has three for sale.

My kinda klunker. I see drop bar conversion

Trek 830 bike - $40 (petaluma)

Hi,
I have a Trek 830 bike that is a rusty and needs new cables. They can be done at Dick's for around $80 or so.
Good wheels and tires.
Asking $40
Will be a nice bike when fixed.
Needs to go fast.

I don't recall ever seeing a kickstand on the drive-side.

@NJgreyhead Who knows, if the tube isn't dented then the stand did no harm and is tossed in the recycling bin.

That's a center stand, has legs on both sides. More common on motorcycles.

His and Her early/mid 80s mountain bikes. Expedition/touring style, but they surprisingly only have single brazeons on the fork/dropouts. They're in impeccable condition, I doubt the couple that bought these took them on more than a couple ride. If I didn't already have my own I would've jumped on this. Despite having my own I'm tempted...
They've been up for a while and its' $350 for both, but I bet you could haggle them down based on the fact the price continues to fall on this listing.
