Bit of an oddball frame...I wouldn't call it a screaming deal, but it seems to be fairly priced given the rarity/quality of the type of frame. Terry Symmetry road bike, 55cm, tiagra 3x9, 650c wheels, 631 reynolds frame. Looks like it was barely ridden. I thought I would put it up here seeing how vintage steel frames are rarely, if ever, women specific. This seems like the next best choice, other than the old Terry frames with the smaller front wheel. Looks like it would be a great sport tourer. $650
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/...357459076.html

edit: another trek. 600 series, 60cm. I think the chainstay reads "620". $190. I really don't understand the saddle to handlebar rise. Frame is a bit scuffed up, but I know there are some trek fanatics on here...

Great deal, thanks for posting.

Seems like there's a lot of people out there who think sitting on a road bike should feel like sitting on the recliner in their living room or sitting driving their car. They make a last ditch effort to get more upright by adding some ridiculous MTB stem ("if I could just raise those bars higher, I'd be comfortable") then get annoyed because all their weight ends up on the seat, making them still more uncomfortable, and so they decide to sell the bike. Sometimes they get some ridiculous tractor seat before selling, but that never seems to work either.

Their loss is our gain, of course. Some people just don't belong on a good bike.

The price, like the seatpost, is too high but these don't come up too often, a Tommasini Velocista in very nice shape in Atlanta for $1800

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/b...360837875.html

And a much more reasonably priced Tommasini in Seattle, in fact, I would call the $850 asking price a steal

That looks to be mint condition and If I had I would be tempted to pay that for it. That is a great riding bikeespecially if you swap out the x41 knobbies for a pair of x25 road tires. full Tange Prestige and XT save for the barends and brake levers

Do frames posed on concrete bother anyone else? I always cringe thinking about the paint getting ground off the bottom brackets and fork dropouts.

Yes, it rankles me too. But I still can't get my eyes off this frame. If it only were an inch or so taller.

+1 Absolutely agree, I don't even set them on smooth concrete, rates right up there with seller/packers that don,t remove or at least screw dropout screws all the way in for shipping, possibly trashing the originals, bending and compromising the holes, etc.

Really nice looking Miami Vice Mt Hood:

https://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/b...347388750.html

"Vintage 1987 ROSS Mt Hood - $200 (Orland park)

Bicycle has just been restored and tuned up. Cleaned up nice and bearings cleaned and re-greased. Wheels have been trued and polished. New cables and housings. Rides very nice. Updated photos.

You are looking at a vintage 1987 Ross Mt Hood in Miami Vice paint. Frame size is 22" seat tube length. Stand over is 32" inches.

Bike is in great condition with no dents. All original down to the Ross tires and seat post. Shimano components. Front and rear U-brakes. Sugino cranks. Shows really well.

Some nicks and chips but nothing serious. The bars and stem are nice and pink, very clean."

If this sits around any longer I’ll have to get it and my wife won’t be happy, so someone else get it.

Nicely outfitted 25.5” Trek 510/515 + a tubular wheelset $425.

I'd need a ladder to get on that bike. How tall are you?
