If you buy it make sure the seatpost isn't seized. I bought frame exactly like this one and it had a stuck post.

This model is about as low as I'd want to go in the Schwinn hierarchy. Price a little high, maybe, but an original LTL with a Jim Blackburn rack.

"Up for sale is a fully functional vintage 10 speed Falcon bicycle made in England and designed by Ernie Clements. This was Falcon's entry level racing model Super Route #92. It has Campagnolo derailleurs, Phil Wood sealed hubs and bottom bracket, Cinelli handle bars & stem, a Brooks saddle, and good tires. It also has Zeus crank and pedals. The frame has spearpoint lugs and was made from Reynolds 531 a manganese/molybdenum steel alloy. I am the original owner. This Falcon was purchased in 1972 from Proteus Bicycles in College Park MD. The bike is showing its age but is a classic example of the tech of the late 60's and 70's.

Considering it's NOS, that's not a bad price. The cost of a new, high quality lugged frame like that would be $2000 at least I imagine.


Someone please save this 50th anniversary Paramount from wearing gatorskins any longer. Also the cables are done wrong, and those wheels just...don't work with that frame. Maybe with regular shiny steel spokes I'd feel differently.

This thing looks like a mess. Definitely needs to be brought back to original set-up or close to it.

I love this color combo. It'd look rad with white saddle/cables/tape. I always love any good miami vice bike.

edit: I just noticed it does have white bar tape. My computer screen is very orange because I'm using f.lux.

Pretty interesting looking older road bike. It is a women's frame and it is made from stainless steel tubes so it's very rust resistant. After doing some reading online about the bike I found that it was marketed to boat owners as a vehicle when they got the the docks, which is why it was made to be so rust resistant. It has a fresh set of tires and is ready for a new home. It's pretty light for the era it's from. Also has 7 speeds to help you up the hills! It's a pretty average sized frame that can accommodate a rider from around 5'5"-6'

Completely overhauled and restored. The wheels are true, the brakes are properly adjusted, and the hubs are tight. Tires are new. Rear derailleur is new, and shifting is smooth. Spenco gel hand grips are new, and are period correct, coming from new old stock. All cables replaced, and the housing is all new.
