Large size. Larger bikes usually go lower in auction format.
Thanksgiving/holiday auction end.
No photos...video not very good
High shipping
Perfect storm. Congrats!
So it goes.

Maybe I can get the seller of this Colnago to ship via BikeFlights. That shipping quote in the auction is excessive.
The unfortunate part is that I also picked up two other bikes locally yesterday.

Nice score, sorry for your unfortunate situation.

Thank you guys. This is the second time that I put in a low bid and actually won. First one was the Merckx Professional from July that I also mentioned in this forum. That one was $500 shipped.

You'd think. I sound like a regular member of this forum.
I'm treading in that territory too right now. Maybe we'd run into each other.

Try to limit things where you only keep the tippy top and you sell the good deals you aren't that in love with.

I'm happy to give advice, but what you're talking about is personal. What do you most like? What most moves you? I like rarer, weirder stuff that's top quality.

An Even Less Expensive Ironman?
Bicycles (road) - $50

"One Centurion Iron Man road bicycle (circa 2010)
One Motobecane road bicycle (circa 1980)
$50 for each, good condition; see photos"
https://richmond.craigslist.org/bik/...402067098.html
(Ugh. Were they my size, I'd see about shipping or long road tripping. If they were nearer, I'd be all over them already. Grrr. Moto appears to be a Super Mirage.)

For those of you who may not know, this is a nice little bike. I built and sold a bunch of these in the '80s, and may have done so with this one. Has the Shimano Front Freewheel System (FFS) with Positron that is easy and user-friendly for new riders and the best steel rims ever on a bike; straight and tough with good chrome. This one does not have the original saddle. I built one of these with a baby seat on it and gave it to my sister when her kid was born.

Strap The Kid To The Rack!!!
Italian bike - $100 (Carrboro/Chapel Hill)

"Original Italian steel lugged frame bycicle."

(If the child seat hasn't destroyed the seat tube, it might be a nice "bycicle"(sp)?)

Keener splendor
It is called a tadpole, I think. @rhm had one for a while. I rode his once, maybe all of 100 feet. It was squirrelly as hell.
