Yes San Cristobal. Sweet bike and $695 is a very good price. I would bet the brakes are CdA also to match the rest of the group. If you ride tall bikes and are shopping, definitely worth a look.

Components are so so but the frame looks fascinating. I'd be looking if it were my size. Anybody know something about this builder?

Fuji Roubaix 56cm Road Bike - $400 (Tewksbury)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
Lee St
(google map)

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Fuji
model name / number: Roubaix
size / dimensions: 56
I built this up a while back as a b-bike, but never got around to riding it, and now I need to sell to make room. It's a steel frame and 1" threadless fork, with a mix of SRAM 10 speed components. It has a new chain, cables, bottom bracket, headset, fork, seatpost, and bar tape. The cassette and chain rings have less than 500 miles on them. The frame does have some chips and scratches on it, but is in excellent condition for its age. I'm looking for $400 or best reasonable offer. Hit me up if you want more info or pics.

I had a tall Ciocc Designer 84 with the steep HT. Very nimble steering albeit a bit touchy for my taste. Sold it off; otherwise, it would have become a wall hanger.

Still building in San Diego, but I don't think he does steel anymore, just Titanium.

Bill Walton rides one.

If it fits, I would be there now with cash and pay asking. I paid more for a frame.

tyler_fred..... FWIW, I have a Ciocc Designer 84 with the same steep (75 deg) head tube angle and fork with 38 mm offset. Mine is built from Columbus SLX. It came to me as a frame only, so I was unable to give it a test ride before building it up. I'll confess to being nervous about how it would handle. I put about 500 miles on it last summer/fall. It is what I would call a "quick turner", but it not what I would call "twitchy". Frankly, the bike feels rock stable to me and it has become my #1 go-to road bike....the prior numero uno machine, an aluminum frame with carbon fork, has been retired to wall hanger status.

Andy Gilmour is a long-time high quality custom framebuilder from Arizona. I believe that frame alone would be north of $2,000 new. (and still a pretty good bargain)

1983 Trek 700 - $450

make / manufacturer: Trek
model name / number: 700
size / dimensions: 56cm

Mint condition, entirely original Trek 700.

Measured seat and top tubes both at about 56cm, which would lead me to believe it's the 22.5" size Trek produced in '83. Fits me well and im 5'8"-5'9".
Pitched as a mid-high end sport touring bike at the time of manufacture.

-43.5cm chainstays and clearance for probably 38mm tires front and back.
-Orginal paint, very few nicks
-Reynolds 531 main tubes and stays
-Full Suntour Superbe groupset, all components in excellent shape
-campagnolo hubs

Email/ text me to come give it a look!

Pricey But Pretty

Vintage LeMonde Tour Frame/Bike - $1000 (Charlotte)

"Original Greg LeMonde Tour frame from the mid 80s. Owned by my dad and handed down to me. I built it up with custom parts to ride on MS Bike tours then kept it on my wall. Columbus TSX chrome moly tubing painted in the original "rainbow warrior" emron paint. Beautiful lugging and engraving on frame... Mint condition, a couple minor scratches. 58 cm, 23" from seat tube to BB. Ultegra, Cinelli, Sella seat, Mavic, ITM stem, Look pedals all color coordinated for the bike. Would like to sell as complete bike since all of the components have very little wear on them.

Really, wall art but ridable as well."

One day I'll be adding one of these to my collection.

My own TSX tubed Maillot Jaune is an amazingly comfortable but fast ride. Someone should try to negotiate on this one. You won't regret it.

Geez, I'd buy that just to part it out. Flip the Cd'A parts on the big online auction place and get a free frame+wheel set outta the deal. Alternatively, keep it as is, if you like the way it rides. No-risk pricing.

But I doubt a modernizing, performance-oriented guy like you would tolerate the limitations of that group for long

Sweet deal! I am Facebook friends with Andy. Specialized and Suntour Superbe would have been on his team builds from this time period. My team frame is a very light well made frame that really handles well. That was a steal!
