Remembered him after posting and reached out. I've actually bought a bike from him and met him on his beautiful Gitane TdF on the Cino years ago. Just waiting patiently.

1984 Ritchey Ascent Comp -- @ PinkBike.com

Looks very clean.
Seller: Realocity
Location: flag Nanaimo , British Columbia , Canada
Date: Jan-03-2018 10:00:01 Views: 160 Watch Lists: 1
Category: All Mountain/Enduro Bikes
Frame Size: 18"
Wheel Size: 26"
Price: $520 CAD
Restrictions: Reasonable offers only, No Trades, Will ship within continent only

Decided not to collect classic bikes anymore, so selling this one and others.

This is a 1984 Ritchey Ascent Comp. Even though it has been painted in the Commando scheme, it is not a Commando. The serial number confirms this is an Ascent Comp and that it was built by Tom Ritchey. The welds and the fillet brazing are beautiful, and she rides strong.

This is an 18" frame, built with complete Shimano M700 'Deerhead' gruppo, Ritchey Bullmoose bars, M700 Hubs on Saturne rims, Specialized Cranks (original to the Deer Head groupset). The bike is in very good to excellent condition. It would take very little to make this a show bike.

$520. I am in North Nanaimo half the week, and Burnaby half the week.

I know 'nuttin' and only curious. Supposedly Mauro Fossati was born in 1916... so doing quick math tells me it unlikely this was made in the 1920's. Fossati was also at some time the head mechanic for Coppi and team. Neat stuff anyways.

Title as: Fossati track bike frame set - from the 1920s? Very rare

vintage Italian Colnago Super Lite racing bike parts - $300

"$300 OBO. This was once a nice 70s Colnago Super Lite, and it has nice parts. Parts: derailleur, pedals, handle bar, shifters, brakes...all Compagnalo originals here. The frame is out of line and front tire wrecked. Anyone who works on these or just loves them is invited to take a look"

https://richmond.craigslist.org/bop/...480322166.html

(Looks to be maybe a '70 or '71? Maybe a 60 cm? (My size. <sad faced emoji>) I've written the seller but have received no response. Perhaps someone more proximate may be successful in effecting a rescue, if it is indeed salvageable? (Or enable for me? <happy faced emoji>(Facilitate, that's what I meant.) (Misaligned frame? Been there many a time, done that.))

Notice no clear shot of the badly damaged wheel, side view of the fork, steerer, or top/down tubes, or showing how badly out of alignment the frame is. Buy just for the parts, hope the frame could be repairable.

That one is on the edge of my striking distance. I sent a message to ask for details

Looks like a ‘73 from frame details and decals. Probably worth it just in parts alone.

If someone gets a response with an address, I could swing by this weekend and take a look at it. I have no interest myself, but could facilitate.

Perhaps not to get over excited of, but here's a described 'mint condition' Quentin Impulse, full Shimano 105. Quentin was a Chicago company that distributed bikes and related. Private labeled this model, unknown maker, Tange Infinity tubing (butted seamed). Nice scallop stay caps, neat 80's color scheme.
