One of our Raleigh experts will have the ID, but I'm going to go way out on a limb and say that this is a safe buy at $40.

Classic Schwinn Superior frame - $120 (Matawan)

https://cnj.craigslist.org/bik/d/cla...493788286.html

I'm close enough to facilitate if someone is interested--we just bought another car, so we're out. It's a 57cm-ish equivalent frame.

I love how the clamp-on shifters have slid down the down tube. The owner probably complained; "why do I have to keep adjusting my shift cables? What's wrong with these derailleurs?"

If so, it's a very early one to judge by the frame angles, wheelbase and Bullmoose-type stem/bar combo.

Fuji S-10-S (1977). Has a 23" double butted hi-ten frame with plenty of chrome. Needs an overhaul. Includes a Belt leather saddle, Blackburn rack, and other vintage accessories for $80 on Hudson Valley (NY) Craig's List. Bike is in Newburgh, NY. This is a tough one for me to resist!

I believe it is. That’s a good price for that one, would make a great everyday rider. That Basso listed above is also very nice at a fair price.

Raliegh Super Course MK II - $300 (New Britain)

Up for sale 1976 Raliegh Super Course MK II.
All original, good condition. Frame size 25", top tube 22"
See pictures for details.

In terms of frame and components, I'd say that was the best year for the Super Course.

Not a bad price, but the real cost is the bike's connotation
Trek 1000 Alpha, $300, I'd guess at 50cm. Seller says they never rode it, and, looking at that saddle, I'm not surprised.

Trek something or other MTB

One poor photo of a steel Trek MTB. Maybe an SHX model? It has Rock Shox, but they may have been added later. Looks like it may be a dark green to purple fade, and it needs work.

I'd guess a 1996 930 with fork added afterwards
