Vintage Motobecane Nomade 10 speed (59cm) (offers accepted)

It is a 59cm Green with gold lettering and lug trim detailing. It is one of the Reynolds steel tubing bikes with all original parts. The transmission is Huret, brakes are Diacomp ect. This bike can be ridden today as it is or would make a killer modified single/ fixed gear. The only other Nomade I could find for sale is selling for $300 and is not as clean as this one. I am asking $250 for the running bike as it sits. This is a scarce bike and has great genetics.

Nomade seems to be a low end model throughout the 70s and 80s... is there Reynolds labeled gas pipe?

NO. Nomade is most definitely NOT Reynolds. It's 1020.

Seller obviously has a case of the "It's foreign-made so it must be expensive" disorder.

I called the seller on this last night - I was the first in line, but the seller said the bike was a 55cm - I ride a 58 or 59. I told him I'd buy it just for parts, but didn't want to part out such a good bike. He was super nice and we had a good conversation.

He emailed me today - told me he sold it today for $150...along with a first-generation Carbon Fiber Trek w/ full Dura Ace for $300, and his Specialized Allez Epic with Kysrium Elite Rims for $850.

While they weren't in my size, I am now commencing to kick myself. If these show up on the forum, I'm going to doubly kick myself.

I purchased this bike 20 years ago. At that time it was $1,200 and the components were top-of-the-line. The Japanese chromoly frame is in excellent condition. Ten years ago I spent a lot of money rebuilding the entire bike and it has been sitting around since then, unridden.

All the components are Campy Super Record. Hubs, seat post, derailluer, brakes, etc. (handle bars are not) It needs new rubber, tires and probably cables, seat and a chain. (I now ride a specialized with full Dura-Ace and Kysrium Elite rims. My, how things have changed!)

It's a great bike at a great price, especially if you can work on it yourself. It's definitely a classic.

Located in S. Scottsdale. Call anytime with questions or to see the bicycle. 300 OBO Thank you.

PX-10 in the Bay Area

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/1708366955.html

The price is way high, but I'm pretty sure he'd take less as I highly doubt he (or she) knows what a PX-10 is. It's got tubulars and a 531 sticker (that is mentioned as 501). What y'all think?

Very cool Crescent. Seller claims it's from the 30's.

How do I put ebay pictures in?

Wait, he says 30's and also WW-II. Duh. Oh well. Well, I guess it started in 1939 (right?) but I think of it as a 40's war.

** FUJI Road Bike * 62cm * VINTAGE * Excellent Condition ** - $200 (berkeley)

Reply to: sale-6xhgq-1713991142@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Classic late 1970's Fuji road bike in very good condition. Recently tuned professionally so everything is smooth, true, tight and strong. 18 speed, 6 x 3 gearing provides good range for straightaways and inclines. Very lightweight for a 62cm steel frame, ideal for riders in the 6'2" to 6'5" range. All original components include Suntour shifters and derailleurs and Dia Compe levers and calipers. Upgrades include a Mavic wheelset laced to Miche hubs, Continental racing tires and a Selle Italia racing saddle. I do have the original saddle and toe clips that came with the bike and will include them if interested. The bike also comes pre-registered with NBR and can be transferred at no cost on purchase.

Available to show at Bancroft & Telegraph. Please include phone number in email.

^ that Fuji has $80 worth of tires on it. Makes it a pretty decent deal, if you're looking for something like that.

Lots of weird stuff on Portland Craigslist. Some of these bikes are just spendy but with as astronomically ridiculous as the PDX market is I guess you have to pay to play if you want a vintage bike and you aren't well, thrifty.
