Trek road bike 10-speed with lock, cable, and pump! - $200 (South Boston)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
(google map)

condition: good
make / manufacturer: Trek
model name / number: 330
size / dimensions: 55cm (22 in)
Well-maintained, clean 10-speed road bike with Trek 55cm frame (1990's). All parts in good condition. Old-school paddle shifters; clamp brakes with plenty of rubber left on them. Front tire is a little worn but still usable. Will thrown in a Kryptonite u-lock, Kryptonite cable, and a very nice full-size pump.

This was originally posted at $200 or $250......I figured it was gone and didn't bother chasing it; looks like seller bumped up the price.

I have to admit that I was mostly unaware of Merz until seeing your posts. They sure do look nice.
That said, I am a fan of well crafted handmade frames 60-64cm ctc

Well that makes you a fan of Merz, his are some of the best from back in the day. The pink one was his and carried him 10's of 1000's of miles, many of which are documented on his FB page along with a lot of other info, build sheets, articles and more. I would encourage you to take a look.

Here's a link to a show with my other complete Merz.

Scouring through Frenh eBay I came across some rare gems:

Simplex suicde shifter

And another one from Huret with a matching RD: link

1950's Bowden randonneur frame
Size: 54?

1940's Cyclo derailleur

Searching tips:
Shifters = Manette
Cranks = Pedalier

And to make life easier, once you've found something you like edit the url from ebay.fr to ebay.com to switch the site to Englih again.

Not too terribly vintage, but definitely KOF Eisentraut on Madison CL:

Photos Never Lie

Paramount Road Bike - $250 (Holly Springs)

"Paramount Series 2 PDG OS built by a division of Schwinn in the early 1990's. Lightweight tubular steel frame with Shimano Exage 500 EX components. Includes Catseye Astrale "cyclocomputer" and frame mounted tire pump. In beautiful condition for a 25 year old bike. Been hanging in the garage for the last 15 years, so you probably want to put on some new rubber."

https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bik/d...535157604.html

(I suspect one could buy this bike for $150 or less, as it looks to be leftover from a yard sale. There is a paper price tag on the stem with "$150" written on it. Sure, this could go in "Wacky..." as the poster is obviously showing his hand, (unless it's the laziest "flipper" in the world), but it's an acceptable rider in a smaller size.)

Vintage Bridgestone XO3 Red Hybrid Bike 20.5" frame - $500

As shown. Looks mostly original, except the tires. Wheels appear straight. Hold air. Brakes work. No wiggle in the headset. Nicks and dings.
If you are interested in this bike, you know how rare it is. If you are looking to just any bike, keep looking.
Looks like about 20.5 inch frame and about 31.5 inseam or stand-over height. That would make it average, fit for person 5'8 to 6'1?

Belongs in the Wacky thread. Seller is delusional.

The crusher is corrosion from salt in the air. I'd be concerned of the tube insides.
