Crikey I wish this was closer - my first real road bike was this same red Schwinn Paramount OS, and I wish I never sold it. It even looks like a 21in/54cm frame.

I know you're a MB guy, but those are really nice. You'd have no problem moving those. Looks like they hardly have been used.

Worth it for the Ergos alone. Might even be a C-Record crank.

Looks like he raised the price to $200. I'd be weary, the front fork and wheel are not original. Thats always a little worry some.

Interesting, had never seen one of these before. In my eyes a re-badged Kestrel is still a Kestrel, but different strokes....

When I saw this listing, I thought "nice bike, good condition, $250 is a fair price..." but then I noticed I was off by $1000!!! Dude is on crack if he thinks a Columbus Zeta frame with the "1980s Italian, yes, but cheap Italian build...." (entry level campy, Modolo brakes, Gipieme etc etc) is worth that much!

By the way... that is NOT a NR rear derailleur..

Caveat emptor!

Vintage 61mm Columbus steel Eddy Merckyx - $800 (Boston)

condition: excellent
Eddy Merckyx road bike serial #7374 Z. From doing some research I've narrowed this down to being an 1985 or 86. The Columbus sticker was damaged by the previous owner mounting a pump but i believe it is made from Columbus SLX steel. This bike is in amazing shape for its age. There are a few nicks in the paint and a little bit of discoloration on the white paint that i tried to show in the photos. No rust. It has pretty much been stored in a garage since the 90s. Im the second owner and all i did was have it professionally tuned up and had the wheels rebuilt. Maybe have only ridden the bike 200 miles since owning it. This bike has a mix of vintage Shimano Durace and Campagnolo parts. It does not come with pedals or water bottle. Seat tube is 61mm top tube is 58mm

Cyclone II derailleur and the Suntour Symmetric levers make it look like the blue version of the '83 620 I had in the taupe/brown colors. Not sure though...
