Looks like it to me with the cottered steel crank set. In Brooklyn stuff like that usually shows up on CL for $250. The prices are a bit crazy, and stuff moves fast. Still scratching my head on that one, especially with a phone number to call.

It doesn't even have one chromoly tube on it. And stamped dropouts. I've been sitting on a Nishiki Mixte (not literally), about ready to give it away. I guess I should reconsider!

For me the show that's ruining cheap deals is American Pickers. Those guys buy any random piece of rusty crap and treat it like a lost Roman artifact. I leave balloon bike frames in my backyard to decay properly just on the off chance they show up in Mercersburg.
It think a bone gets involved any time a bike has an HD attached to it...

I think it would be the former, and American Picklers is a good comparison. How many sellers on those shows will not feel like chumps after watching themselves getting lowballed on TV?

Actually, there are very small differences in the Portage/Kodiak/Alyeska lineup - until you hit Wyoming. That was a real step down.

That does it. I have a Carbolite 103 Peugeot mixte frame set with a chrome fork and English BB. I was going to build it - but now it's going to eBay so I can retire early.

Free steel Raleigh Rapide frame, measuring 21 inches on the seat tube, from the center of the crank axle to the middle of the intersection with the top tube. I have the (rusted) 27 inch wheels for it if you want them.

It's stripped, and it's missing the brakes, cables, and a lot of bolts, among other things.

I dunno, if you can use it, email me.

Have to make a decision tomorrow between this, a very nice De Rosa, and a beat up Zullo.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Hell - that's easy. Buy the Pog, and buy the De Rosa for me. I just missed a nice on on eBay last week.

My dad bought this bike for me so that I could get around the campus at UW Madison without much worry of someone stealing my bike. As you can see I still have it, so I guess my dad's strategy worked. The bike is in good working condition and is still not likely to be stolen ;-) I'm asking $10. 414-235-3711
