Hey, thanks for posting on this.
I saw this bicycle yesterday. I turned it down because there are no bosses for the DT shifters. Lots of paint problems. Seat is unusable.
Cinelli stamped BB. Shimano 600EX 6207 group set.
Think it is still worth it? I was thinking of going with bar-end shifters in place of the DT shifters (using the clamp-on cable stop)

Agree, but think I know why. Have the same crank and Ti bb, was a biotch to remove the original large head (possibly 17mm hex) without marring the crank arm threads.
I had to use a precision made and robust treated socket (Snap-on) then grind the outer edge to make a very thin wall. No one makes a socket. Checked everywhere and inquired online. Too hard to turn down on the lathe. Hardly any clearance. Wonder what the heck Zeus was thinking -that crank is quite special and could imagine how many ham-fisted type screwed up the puller threads.

For tubing info try contacting Scott at Blue Wheel in Charlottesville VA. I'm sure he can answer any questions you may have on how he builds his stuff.

I have no idea what tubing Paisley used, but the absence of braze-on shifter bosses has nothing to do with the quality of the frame. Of my four bikes, all quality frames, only the Masi has braze-on bosses and those were an extra cost option.

Marinoni fixie on Chicago CL needs saving. The "buckshot" pattern on image 6 is a bit curious.

Schwinn Paramount 1972 23" - $500
For sale is my long loved Schwinn paramount, Its the touring model, came setup with a campy triple up front. Now it sports a three speed Sturmey Archer drive built on 700c rims. Its a bit beat up (dent in top tube) but its still a beauty. Nitto albatross bars, rare faux lugged GB stem, Nice brooks flyer in great shape, Honjo mud guards, and schwinn branded saddle bag. Campy headset, cranks, front hub and bottom bracket. The frame is straight and true, rides well. My price is $500 I will not bargain, so don't bother if your not willing to pony up. Its a classic bike with a beautiful color you won't find on any modern bike today. That kind of paint is too toxic for today's standards. Size: 23"center to center squared. Bike is in Milwaukee WI.
