Bridgestone RB-T Touring Bike - $400 (City/Burbs)

condition: fair
make / manufacturer: Bridgestone
model name / number: RB-T
Well used favorite is just a little too small for me. Great bike for many uses.
Long or short road or trail rides with or without bags is what this bike was designed for.
Braze-ons for front and rear racks and fenders.
Triple front chain rings with 7 speed bar-end shifters, cantilever brakes and room for about 35 mm tires (700C) make this bike a dynamic option for many style of riding, loaded or not. This ride is a solid cult classic for a reason. The frame is designed by Grant Peterson (of rivendale bikes) and is made of 4130 steel chromoly.
Has NOT been a garage queen. Well used bike for sure but plenty of life left in her.
Rides great, I would keep this bike if it fit me better.
Throw your gear on it and go for a long trip or zip around the local roads and trails.
For frame of reference I have about a 33" inseam and usually ride a 56 cm, this bike is just a bit too small for me, I will measure and update later, I'm guessing about a 54 cm.
***Sale does not include seatbag, pump or water bottle****

Front end looks a little steep and that front tire is closer to the downtube than the front fender is on my RB-T. Caveat emptor.

This guy has a Raleigh Competition G.S. with what looks like a 23.5" frame and mostly original components, and has no idea what he's got... Anyway, it started out expensive and now it's rather cheap. I even messaged him a while back to tell him what it was, but he obviously didn't notice or care.

What looks like a 1930s BSA track bike that's apparently escaped notice, being listed as a "Chater Lea" bicycle (with a cool Chater Lea bottom bracket lug). I wouldn't be sharing this and would be sniping at the end if it weren't exceptionally small for me.

I believe that’s being offered by a BF C&Ver (@Brewsmith). Good deal too.

Ron Cooper - 64cm - $300

This looks to be in good shape. Owner is running it as a single speed, but has the original Campagnolo parts for it that he will sell it with. Wow.

How many of you are going, "Just get the thing, RoS, it's only $300!" Seems like a really nice price for a rideable custom/hand-made frameset from a master builder. It is a pretty color. I'd build it with the Superbe components I have, because I prefer to be mildly rebelious, even if I spend half of today posting 80-90% of my vintage parts onto CL... I actually haven't looked on CL for vintage things for like...over a week! And honestly, man, I gotta get rid of things and I'm trying but nothing's really been moving. Hopefully this spurt of nice NW weather will jump start people.

That ST800 Cannondale tourer is reduced 100 to 400 fwiw. Another seller dropped to 350 on what appears to be a Miyata 1000 in a small size--or maybe a 610GT? Not stock though--edit it is a 615GT. That Cdale is nice, easy 200-250 in parts alone with brooks copper saddle, superbe derailers/shifters, Sugino AT crank......

Don't know the builder...but I like it, and the pricing is reasonable given the parts. If you want a tandem, you could do a lot worse.
