63cm Raleigh Super Course on eBay
Local pick up only in Manchester, New Hampshire

Needs work (and rims) but no interest at US $49.99 (might be frame size working against it)
LINK IS NOT WORKING, Just goes to the ebay general listing. Look up Raleigh Super Course price 45-60 and it can be found.

Colnago Super - 58cm

On Chicago CL. A bit tatty, and a dog's breakfast of parts, but seems like a decent price.

Vintage Guerciotti 54 cm Columbus SLX - $500 (Wellesley)

Own a classic steel ride! High quality Columbus SLX tubing with internal rifling. Original ten speed drive paint with only a few minor chips. Chrome on fork and chainstays is in every good condition. Frame is 54 cm (c to c top tube and seat tube). Currently configured with an 8 speed rear cassette and 53/39 chainrings with friction downtube shifters. I'm 5 ft 9 inches tall and the bike fits me well with a 100 mm stem. Should be the right size for someone between about 5 ft 7 to 5 ft 10 inches tall. Recently built up frame and fork with the following parts:

Guerciotti lugged Columbus SLX frame and fork (circa 1985)
Campagnolo crankset, bottom bracket, seat post, front derailleur, pedals and headset (new- record) and brakes (new pads)
Brake levers-Cane Creek
Nitto noodle bar (new bar tape) and 100 mm reach Nitto stem
Wheelset-New Mavic Open Pro (Shimano free hub)-8 speed cassette
Tires-Panaracer Pasela-low miles
Shimano 600 rear derailleur and downtube shifters
Brooks swift saddle

This bike is in excellent condition. Asking $500 OBO.

Anyone know how Columbus SLX rides? I have a Schwinn with Columbus Tenax tubing and love it. I've read that what's more important, in terms of ride feel, is geometry but I have nothing to compare the Tenax to.

Not sure of the model, but Suntour Sprint components and Columbus tubes. Dusty and dry hoods, but not rusty.

SLX is slightly heavier and a little stiffer than SL. I forget what Tenax compares to in the hierarchy as it was used just on the Schwinn. I really enjoy all my SLX bikes. If you are wondering about that Guerciotti, I think that would be a great bikeand the price is pretty fair for that excellent condition.

Very well. And if it is a Masi SLX bike (their Nuova Strada in the late '80s was), then it's magic. I have found that out-of-the-saddle efforts really bring out its best qualities as the frame "works" with the rider instead of "resisting" (to use a word) their efforts. I have two nice SL-tubed Schwinns that are a bit more of the latter, but an SL-tubed ~'83 Guerciotti is 100% the former. On the whole, though, SLX is well-regarded.

They have a little icon with an X at the top in the titles for that. I do it all the time to protest vaping stuff in electronics.
