Supposedly, these are built by the same Italian contractors as Colnago and very similar to a Super. The "Japanese" brand name and Italian build seem like an odd pairing, but so it is.

All of you tall folks probably already have all the Treks you need, but here's another nice Trek 610 with bar-end shifters. Hard to tell exactly what it's running with the flipped pic, but considerably newer than 1981 drivetrain?

1991 Bridgestone MB2 for sale. This is a lugged steel ritchey prestige frame. Bike is in good condition but is too small for me. Best for someone 5'9" or less. Would prefer to sell with original flat bar set up but would negotiate a sale to include the nitto stem and mustache bars. please text or email if interested.

'84 Trek 720 for sale .....
Hi,
I have an '84 Trek 720 (size 21"/ 54cm) that I'm thinking about selling. It has been completely overhauled with all new parts and stripped powder coated orange. It has had the canti posts moved to accommodate 700c wheels. The fork mid blade mounts have been changed to through mount to allow more flexibility with front racks. Bottle cage braze-ons were added to the back of the seat tube so I could mount my pump there.
Parts are as follows (I will consider selling bike in many variations of parts included)
Bike is located near Detroit and I would prefer a local sale)
-Albatross bars with cork grips
-Rivendell Silver bar-end shifters
-Vintage Shimano MTB brake levers
-Tektro CR720 canti brakes
-Shimano Deore derailleurs F/R
-Sugino crankset 26/36/46
-Shimano 600 freewheel 12-34 (IIRC)
-Phill Wood hubs F/R 40h front 48h rear (freewheel) laced to Velocity Chukker rims (absolutely bomb-proof) with Schwalbe Marathon 700x32 tires
-MKS Grip King pedals (from Rivendell)
-Salsa racks F/R
-SKS wide fenders (I probable have the widest tires that will fit inside the fenders)
-Ortlieb panniers (city - I think) F/R
-I'm keeping the Brooks saddle but may sell the set-back seat post if it won't work on whatever new frame I buy
I'm willing to sell but not give away - I need $$$ to build my next ride but think I'm done with touring (looking at Surly Straggler)
PM for pics
Thanks,
Scott

1980 Fuji Royale - 2 bikes - $150 (Greenville)

"Fuji Royale: Molybednum Steel 12 Speed Bikes - 24 and 27" 1980 models: $150 for both. Two for the price of less than one! Can be a collector's item or they're ready to ride!
Both function well and 27" model has new tires and recently ridden, 24" may require new tires. Garage kept, normal wear, never damaged."

Mixting It Up
Old original Peugeot - $50 (N RALEIGH)

"I rode this old bike for several years / many miles around N Wake county
Although it was never the prettiest, it was always a smooth road war horse...
The pictures tell the tale...
But; I have always had too many bikes!
Has 27 x 1-1/4 inch tires
I just replaced the rear tube...
Both tires hold air; but in due time, both may need tires"

Nice old RH in excellent condition. Can't get the photo uploader to work; sorry. I am right-clicking the CL photo, selecting "copy image location" and pasting that into my post using the 'insert photo' icon. Is that the wrong protocol? Whenever I do that, the progress indicator goes immediately to 99% and then stops.

1986 Specialized Rockhopper Rock Hopper - $150 (Plainfield)
Here is a mostly original 1986 Specialized Rockhopper for sale. I believe everything is original equipment except the handlebars, grips, seat, tires and front brake cable. Bike is fully functional. Please see pictures for condition.

(I've gone old school and bypassed the site's uploader. Nestle the pic's address snugly between and it'll display right fine.)
