Sorry it's too large.<sad faced emoji> I posted it as soon as I noticed it, around a few hours after it hit CL.

It's yet up and presumably available.

I'm no Centurion expert, but if it is of any consolation, it appears to be only a 76 or 77 Super LeMans with hi-ten, albeit Tange hi-ten, tubing?

These don't come up too often, too bad it is so big but at least the $500 asking price is reasonable; located just outside of Portland, OR

large (64cm) Custom built Ed Litton that shows his Eisentraut-trained masterful craftsmanship but unfortunate paint on the TT, this is at a non-profit in San Rafael called "trips for kids" and the asking price $400, a real steal even with the paint, IMHO, here's the post from Chris Ioakimedes on the CR list:

I was searching for a non-cycling item in the General area locally and found this. Looks like an Olympic rider, maybe autographed, kit too recent to be Connie Carpenter. Any interest or any guesses?

Cycling art bike picture - $20 (Mechanicsville)

This is a nice art piece of a cyclist. Appears to be printed canvas mounted in a black frame. Approx 22" by 18.5".

Trek 560 Pro Series, $340. Very tempting.

As an aside, I'm always amused to see the bizarre tortured positions people resort to, prior to deciding to sell a bike because they conclude they just can't get comfortable on it. I don't think I could ride for more than a block with a seat adjusted like that.

That 569 is interesting but it looks like most of the 105 is gone, considering that and the condition $340 seems high

True, overpriced. I just saw a 560 frame on Ebay for $118. That "Pro Series" name must have threw me off. I doubt many pros in 1987 ran Shimano 105 with Biopace rings.

Frame was all I was interested in, I have lots of 105 parts lying around.

Yeah, that 560 is a far cry from original as well. Looks like the shifters, wheelset, and stem came with it. Crankset is older, brake levers older, bars too. Dual pivot rear brake and a single in the front...thats nutted and not recessed as they would have been. It's a frankenbike (or a coop bike...), which is too bad. $340 is overpriced by about $80-100ish given the condition and non-originality. It's ok to be non-original, of course, but when it's poorly done, that's when it hurts the bike's value. I have the next year's nearly-identical 560 model (teal, but with True Temper RC-1 tubing) and have built it up with Dura-Ace. That thing moves and climbs really well. Riding it today!

Definitely envious. I don't have any steel frames that nice, ever since my Bottecchia SLX was stolen. Might be time to remedy that.
