Man, does this Raleigh Team ever look fresh and it is only $350! Could it be a SBDU frame? It is in Rancho Cucamonga, which is a fantastic name for a place.

Piero Zurino "Special" Swiss Randonneur - $300 (NE)

bicycle type: road
condition: good
frame size: 54 cm
wheel size: 700CI'm reluctantly letting this beauty go. 700c frame with clearance for 30c tires. Ready to drop onto a nice set of wheels and enjoy.

1978-ish Piero Zurino "Special" Randonneur

55 center to center top tube
54 center to center seat tube

Columbus tubing with cast lugs
Swiss (!) threaded bottom bracket

Built up with a mashup of choice late 70's parts
Campagnolo Super Record Cranks
Campagnolo Record Front Derailleur
Shimano 600 friction shifters
Shimano 600 Arabesque Rear Derailleur
Shimano DuraAce calipers
Suntour Superbe Pro levers
Campagnolo Record 1" headset
Cinelli Stem
Cinelli Bar
Beautiful old Ideal leather touring saddle
Silca pump
Velo Orange fenders
I put some older Japanese pedals on it that may be useful
Nice bell and a small canvas handlebar bag

I can supply the original wheelset with Shimano 600 hubs and Mavic rims but they need some work and honestly should be rebuilt.

This makes a great classic road ride/light tourer. These were actually training frames for the continental road team that the Velo Schwab company sponsored in the 70's. Has more traditional road geometry but a few added braze ons for fenders, etc.

I just never get a chance to ride it anymore and it deserves to be on the road.

Looking for 300 or best offer.
If that was my size...

Frame an off-the-shelf Takara; no mods to it have been made, no torch work. Everything mounts with clamps.

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/...638116843.htmlSchwinn cimarron touring bike for parts - $100 (Carlsbad)

I have a schwimm cimarron. I believe it is an 1989. This bike is built in wisconsin in the same department that the paramounts were built in. in great shape. It is a true classic. Selling the frame for 100obo. It comes with the headset and bottom bracket.

This is a great touring bike. Schwinn's top of the line mountain bike when it was built. This frame is legit and the components are in great shape, and perform like new. Frame it is in great condition. a wall hanger most its' life. I would say it is a medium size frame. 5'8 and shorter to ride this bike.

The wheels are also for sale. They are deore hubs, with ma-20 rims. Anodized gray, and they are in great shape. 8 speeds. 150. tires are like new.

If you are looking for a townie or a touring bike, this is it. It has more water bottle boss mounts than most touring bikes. It has a total of four places to mount water, or other things.

subject bike a relatively late example into the "production" time.

base frames came from Takara of America in Oklahoma.

in developing and refining his ideas Bob made ten "one-off" side-by-sides.

there were lugless ones, lugged ones, planetary geared ones, derailleur geared ones and a demonatable.

Nice-looking 1987 Fuji America touring frameset: https://www.ebay.com/itm/fuji-americ...s/232869063474
Listing says 57cm frame but classicfuji.com's entry for it lists only 56 and 58. This one looks like a 56 to me.
