1984 Raleigh Road Ace 12 speed RARE UK ONLY MODEL - $450 (Lowell)

I am selling a rare 1984 Raleigh Road Ace 12 speed bicycle what make it rare it was only a UK model and was never imported to the US. The bike has a 57cm Reynolds 531 frame, Reynolds 531 fork, FULL Shimano 600 AX group including the water bottle, 700c Maivc tubular wheels, Look Pedals and 3TTT stem. All the bike needs to be a rider is some new brake hoods, new tubular tires original ones hold air but are worn. This will make for a great addition to any bike collectors collection or with a minor tune up have yourself a sick ride. Sold for cash and pick up only. Decent price and they're great bikes. FWIW, they only came in even number frame sizes, so it's probably a 56cm? I didn't know they came with dork discs though!

Early 90's Basso Astra freshly built up with Campagnolo 20 speed kit. This bike is dead sexy and rides like a dream. Hot pink and purple it can't be missed. The ride is plush, quiet and shifts beautifully.

Very nice, light Columbus EL steel tubes lugged with Basso dropouts. Built with Campagnolo Daytona levers, Centaur Ultra-torque crankset, Record front derailleur and vintage Athena calipers. The wheel set is a mix. Spinergy Xaero rear (one of my personal favorite wheels) and a bladed spoke/sealed bearing front wheel.

The frame has some patina but still looks great. Some noticeable nicks on the top tube and most importably what was a rust spot on the right front of the top tube which has been sealed over in addition to a delightful masking with a Campy decal.

In my opinion the bike both rides and looks exceptional. A great collection bike and a great rider. $950

I have one of these, won the first race I ever entered on it. Davis Phinney designed the frame, awesome speed and handling. Rough ride though, my personal comfort limit on this bike is about 90 minutes, and I would replace the fork with a carbon one.
