26 " good for the tall people
Schwinn Paramount P15 Loaded Campy Phil Wood Brooks - $999 (san jose south)
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/d/schwinn-paramount-p15-loaded/6675802539.html
For your consideration is lovely 1975 26-inch Schwinn Paramount P15 as it was originally built new and ordered from Schwinn. This was built as a high-end bicycle and is loaded with Campagnolo components, features Phil wood hubs, Cinelli stem and Brooks Professional saddle. Has new Schwalbe tires.
The bicycle is in beautiful surviving condition with only minor scratches from use. No dings or dents. A little elbow grease will have this bicycle looking and riding amazingly.
It comes with the Schwinn Provenance report from Richard Schwinn.
Some of the photos turned out good, some not so much. I can provide more detailed photos if necessary, but really, other than some dust and very mild dirt this is an extremely nice 40+-year-old bicycle.
This is a very tall bicycle and not something I'm interested in packing and shipping. I'm hoping one of the 7 million people who live in the SF Bay Area will find this irresistible.
That being said, I will take it to a San Jose bike shop if necessary. It can be picked up in the San Jose Willow Glen area or I can take it to my office in Milpitas.
Asking $999.00 OBO
I will accept Paypal or Cash
Please send me a relatively intelligent response so I know you're not one of the many weirdo's or scammers.

....or swing.....
(Huh-huh-huh, the ad says "rigid"....)
But part of me has to ask WTF, doesn't that look like a random photo of a random bike parked in public? Just makes you wonder if it's really his bike.....

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...677282577.html Classic 1988 Cannondale Touring Bicycle Model ST700 Red - $499 (Somerville, MA)

From the 1988 Cannondale Catalogue, "ST700 A versatile wonder for century rides and touring. Shimano Deore/Biopace drivetrain for indexing and efficiency." This is a great touring bike! It has many original parts, because the original components were excellent and lightly used.

For sale is a fully overhauled vintage Columbus framed Schwinn Super Sport.
Bike was stripped to the frame and all components were cleaned and greased. Bike needs nothing and rides like new.
Brand new chain, cables, tires, tubes, bar wrap.
Bike has full Shimano 600 components down to the pedals. 600 was the precursor to the Ultegra group.
Rides wonderful and the Columbus Tenax frame is stiff while still forgiving.
Chance to get a sweet, high end vintage ride that's ready for summer.
Good for riders around 6' and up.
Call text or email any time

1985(?) Specialized Allez SE
Here's a specialized allez SE located in a Burbank, CA bikeshop. If it turns out that the bike is just a bit dirty/run down it can clean up well and be a good commuter bike.
It's one of my grail bikes due to size alone since I'm such a small rider (at 5'2"). I just moved to Sacramento from Los Angeles so I didn't get a chance to pick it up myself, but if someone is willing to check it out/ship it to me I'd be really grateful lol.
Please PM me for details.

Rare offering for here in the US, excellent vintage condition, just out of long-term storage, purchased from the original owner on the North Shore with a solid history behind it, this is not the US-market Raleigh Record that was simply painted in the Team Raleigh colors back in the late 1970s, the US-marketed bike was a lower-end 10-speed offering in the US catalog and they pop up for sale fairly regularly, the bike being offered here is totally different, the 23.5 inch frame is constructed of Reynolds 531 double butted main tubes and forks (all decals remain intact and are readable, slight itch to the seat tube decal caused by the placement of the not-original pump bracket which was removed by me), Worksop-Carlton made ("Made in England" Union Jack decal remains 100 percent intact), Campy forged dropouts, rears have threaded adjusters!), nice and neat lug work reflects the pride of workmanship at Worksop at that time, the bike is all original with the exception of a period-correct switch to 27" by 1" clincher wheels (Sansin low-flange hubs with sealed bearings, Atom-Maillard skewers are probably original as the original wheels were likely Normandy Comp hubs and Mavic tubular rims) wheels now are built with gorgeous Rigida narrow-alloy rims and are dressed with 25-630 100 PSI clinchers), the Raleigh-marked alloy stem and the alloy bars are likely SR, Raleigh-marked SR crank, SR micro-adjusting seatpost, shifters and ratchet levers are 1st generation Suntour Cyclone as was the correct set up for the time, and now recognized as the best components for the money during the period, maybe even better (gasp!) than Campy Super Record, Weinmann 605 sidepulls and drilled out levers with gum rubber hoods, again, brakes were the "sleeper" calipers for the period and they pull nice and smooth and hard, original black cotton bar tape, saddle in the pic is a brand new Brooks Professional that is not included at the listed price, but we can certainly talk about that, bike came to me with a gel saddle, and I assume that for the year, it probably was fitted with a leather-covered molded saddle, still researching that. This bike would roughly be the equivalent of the Competition GS or Super Course MKII in the US catalog during the post 1977 period, Todd 774-249-2198

I don't normally post road bikes that have been converted to "fixies" or "single speed" or "townies" etc, but this is a super nice frame.
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...657244408.html
Vintage 1981 Peter Mooney 50cm (50cm seat tube, 52cm top tube) built as fixed gear "town" bicycle for sale. Peter Mooney is still making custom frames today in Belmont, MA (Wheelworks). Very classy ride, this bike is built with a combination of original Campagnolo and modern parts that work together nicely, both aesthetically and mechanically speaking. Parts include Brooks Cambium C17 saddle, Campagnolo headset, Bontrager Satellite handlebar, Ergon Biokork grips, Alex cartridge-bearing-flip-flop-track rear wheel with Surly 19T track cog and Surly lock-ring, Mavic Open Pro SUP rim with Campagnolo hub front wheel, both with Continental 700 x 28 Gatorskin tires, original Campagnolo crankset with 48T track chainring. All original braze-ons and guides are still on the frame if one wanted to build this as a geared road bike again. The frame and fork wear the original paint, and show signs of use, with some light rust spots, at some point a paint job might be nice; but the frame and fork are sound and straight. Please check out pictures, as they tell the whole story. $600

Chrome Paramount, local pickup. Finish looks splotchy but would probably clean up nicely. Low starting bid at $353

I ran across this bike the other day and went to look at it hoping it would fit. Initially the owner did not know its actual size, its a really really nice bike for its age and its in good mechanical shape. I just wish it had not been 60 CM

From local FB marketplace, mid 80's Raleigh Alyeska, looks to me like 25" frame. I asked the seller if he'd accept $50 and he asked if I could meet today as he needs the cash. I'm on the fence about it and wouldn't fight anybody for it but seems to be a pretty decent touring bike, cantis, 2x bottle cage mounts, eyelets front and rear for racks and fenders, 3x drivetrain, etc etc etc. Oh and this one looks to have bar ends installed as well. Worth $50 in parts IMO. Does that fork look funny? Maybe it's the pic. I dunno.
