Custom fillet brazed Rodriguez; Rat Trap Pass etc. - $650 (Bay City)

bicycle type: other
frame size: 58.5 effective top tube
make / manufacturer: Rodriguez
model name / number: Custom
wheel size: 26 in

Also willing to trade for steel 29er. Shoot me a text or email.

NORBA-ish geometry. A damn hoot to ride with the Rat Trap Pass ultralights. Only selling to fund something w/ discs for winter commuting.

Previous owner stripped and clear coated frame/fork, so you're either cool with the rust spidering that will eventually happen or will want to get it powder coated.

Put a small ding in the seat tube extension yesterday, other than that, frame is straight. Wheels need truing. Brake levers have some play in them, both brakes definitely need dialing in, have frayed cables etc. But parts are in overall good condition. Tires @ ~80%. Provisions for rack/fenders.

Bike is located in Bay City. Will deliver for the cost of fuel.

Email me w/ questions or for additional pictures.

Standover w/ Rat Trap Pass extra lights ~80
Effective top tube = 58.5
Fillet brazed stem 140mm
Bi-plane fork crown
White Industries ti hubs
11-30 ti cassete
1x w/ chainguard
Campy ti BB
Brooks saddle
Heat treated Nitto Albatross bars
Canti front, U rear

Entry level components but a rarer mark and what looks to be a clean bike. If it was my size I wouldn't be posting it here.

Peugeot PX 10 - $280 (Richmond)

bicycle type: road
brake type: caliper
condition: good
electric assist: none
frame size: 58 cm
handlebar type: drop
make / manufacturer: Peugeot
model name / number: PX 10
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: 700C
1968 58cm PX 10 12-speed (2x6) racing bike. The frame paint and chrome is scarred but there are no dents. Paint is original. There is no functional damage and it rides excellent. Like new Sun rims and new Vredestein Grand Fondo tires. Hubs are original Normandy Competition and wheels roll smooth and true. Chain recently replaced. Minimal wear on the Stronglight chain rings. Rear 6 speed freewheel has almost no wear. Simplex Competition rear derailleur and Huret Allvit front derailleur are downtube friction activated. Shift levers are Huret. Handlebars and stem are Cinelli. Brakes are center-pull Mavic Racer. Pedals are original Lyotard with Christophe toe clips. Seat is FI Z IK Arionne. The bike is rock solid and handles perfect and like a racing bike should. Needs nothing. Always stored indoors and waxed. I hate to part with this bike, but I have too many bikes and must do it.

Another VGC Trek tourer with Reynolds 531 and Suntour Cyclone half-step w/granny, this one a 24" 620 from 1983 for $275.
Even has the original dorky spoke-mounted reflectors, front and rear. Ishiwata fork?
Love the way the metallic Imron paint holds up.

Beautiful, These are the kind of deals worth waiting months or years for. The color of that paint looks like bare metal, only with metallic flakes added. Pure genius.

I had one, sold it to a friend. He loves it, added fenders and it's an absolute knockout. I suffer mild regret in selling it but it gets more use now than it would have with me and I still get to admire it on a regular basis.
